Marvel Comics Celebrates Disability Pride Month with Special Backup Stories in 4 Issues
Marvel Comics has announced a new Marvel's Voices story for Disability Pride Month that will be told in backup stories across four issues - Amazing Spider-Man #32, Uncanny X-Men #31, Fantastic Four #14, and Wolverine #24 - on sale in July 2026. The backup stories are written by Marieke Nijkamp and drawn by Andrea Di Vito.
Heroes spotlighted in Marvel Voices Disability Pride Month story include Daredevil, Misty Knight, Echo, Hawkeye, Silhouette, and Finesse. These heroes will come together to save Colleen Wing from a deadly threat.
The issues featured in Marvel Voices Disability Pride Month backup stories will also have their own Disability Pride Variant Covers from celebrated artists. Amazing Spider-Man #32 features a Disability Pride Promo Variant Cover by Jamie McKelvie and a Disability Pride Variant Cover by Leinil Francis Yu. Uncanny X-Men #31 features a Disability Pride Promo Variant Cover by David Mack. Fantastic Four #14 features a Disability Pride Promo Variant Cover by Aaron Kuder. Wolverine #24 features a Disability Pride Promo Variant Cover by Stephen Segovia.
