Finding a balance between working full time as a ICU RN, full time wife, full time daughter and granddaughter. The struggles that I face on a daily basis both mentally and physically are exhausting even on the best day. My life is insanely busy and its just getting busier. My husband and I were told that we are expecting our first bundle of joy this coming January and we can not wait to meet her; however, finding a new balance is going to be a chore in itself.
I am a Type A personality, overachiever that schedules everything on a mobile calendar that syncs with the family. Everything on that calendar is programmed by me to include our shifts to work, spontaneous doctors appointments, pet appointments, family outings, and daily housework (including changing the air filter). Having this schedule is my shield from feeling that my world is crashing and burning around me, it gives me control in a very chaotic world.
So, I shared some information about my personal life. I stay incredibly busy as a Christian, rescue pet mother of nine (6 cats and 3 dogs), genealogist, soon to be scentsy distributor, first time blogger, bibliophile, scrapbooker, amateur photographer, traveler, musicophile, and piano player. Prior to pregnancy, my husband and myself have been working on our health as we are not in the best shape of our lives. I can not wait to get back to hiking and spending time outdoors.
