O AMP, plugin nativo do Ableton Live, é um efeito de áudio de modelagem física que emula os tons atemporais de 7 amplificadores analógicos clássicos de guitarra. Desenvolvido em parceria com a desenvolvedora Softube.

Proporciona um som mais quente e encorpado, a partir de configurações simples que permitem uma modelagem rápida do som. Possui controles de ganho de entrada, equalização, brilho, volume de saída e nível de dry/wet.

Em todas as 7 emulações de amplificadores, o AMP promove um caráter sonoro marcante e traz a distorção clássica para aprimorar o tom e a vibração do seu timbre, desde o kickbass até o lead mais agudo.

Amplificadores Emulados

Clean: Baseado no canal "brilhante" de um amp clássico dos anos 60.

Boost: Baseado no canal "tremolo" do mesmo amp emulado no Clean, ótimo para riffs de rock.

Blues: Baseado em um amp clássico dos anos 70 com caráter brilhante, muito popular no country, rock e blues.

Rock: Emula um amp clássico de 45 watts dos anos 60, cujo o som característico é amplamente conhecido.

Lead: Baseado no canal "Modern" de um amp de alto ganho, famoso entre guitarristas de metal.

Heavy: Baseado no canal "Vintage" do mesmo amp de alto ganho emulado em Lead.

Bass: Inspirado em um PA famoso dos anos 70, popular entre os baixistas por ter força nos graves e um "fuzz"em volumes altos.

O AMP do Ableton Live pode trabalhar individualmente, mas se aplicado em conjunto com o Cabinet, emulando a cadeia completa de sinal amplificado de guitarra.

O Cabinet também é um plugin nativo, e fornece várias emulações de gabinetes clássicos, com microfones e posicionamentos otimizados.

Parâmetros do AMP

Gain: Controla o nível de entrada do sinal de áudio. Quanto maior, mais distorção é aplicada ao efeito.

Volume: Controla o nível de saída do sinal processado. Junto com o Gain, define a característica geral do efeito.

Bass, Middle e Trouble: Permitem "equalizar" a aplicação do efeito, com amplas possibilidades de modelagem tonal. Controlam o amout em cada região do espectro sonoro (graves, médios e agudos, respectivamente). Interagem de maneira complexa com o sinal de áudio, proporcionando resultados inesperados e surpreendentes ao timbre.

Presence: Controle tonal adicional, que pode trazer mais clareza e definição percebidas ao som a partir da modelagem extra de médios e agudos.

Output: Escolha entre saída mono ou dual do sinal processado. A saída em dual (estéreo) requer o consumo maior da CPU.
