. king's landing wasn't new to the eldest daughter of house westerling. she had visited once before, when accompanying some travellers there but never had a chance to look around.
. with her family being preoccupied in the red keep, jeyne slipped out and gone towards the dragon pit. she went inside and settled in one of lower tiers, pulling a piece of charcoal and a blank scroll out.
. it was quiet with barely any people, except the dragonkeepers inside, giving her a chance to draw in peace. the young woman soon got lost in what she was doing and didn't notice when the soft humming started.
. she also didn't notice when the hum, which she used to ease the fear and terror of injured animals and which echoed around the building, caught the attention of something bigger and more dangerous than the guards.
//...oops sorry for the length.

the shadowflame stirs within the pits. the hum of a voice he does not recognize. it is a mysterious, as mysterious as his own shrouded past is. he pushes himself up to his feet, tattered wings pulling him forward. he is one of the older dragons in the pit, though not as old as the living titan that is vhagar.
he sniffs the air, the smell of smoke and charred animal flesh drifting down the tunnels. along with something new. something fresh. it is not the blood that he knows, the line that has tamed and bred his people for combat or bonding. a newcomer amidst the dragonfire.
it is a wonder the entire pit does not shake from his movements, his golden eyes peering over the shoulder of the woman's shoulder. they traced the lines she made, the pictures she drew. daemoros cocked his head to the side, the movement almost bird-like as he watched her in silence for a moment or two, engrossed by her small artworks.
then he exhaled, his warm breath making the edges of the scroll ripple. her hair flow as if she were faced with a wind. a low rumble started in his throat- more inquisitive than hostile.
