My Questions:
1. If you could marry any superhero who would it be and why? If I had to choose a hero instead of a villain I suppose I'd choose Batman.
2. A song that never fails to make you happy? "Devil's Dance Floor" Flogging Molly
3. Who you would want to be stranded on an island with (fictional or real)? Anyone from Sidewinder or those lucky enough to end up on Prophet's speeddial. Basically, someone pretty who could help me get the fuck out of there fast because fuck that. Not a fan of the being stranded on an island idea.
4. What does your URL mean? Ami is a shortening of my real first name. Rose is similar to my last name. Books is for writing and fangirling about them.
5. If you could be a mythical creature what would you be? Death / Grim Reaper
5. Greatest holiday you’ve ever had? I miss the day trips I used to go on with my family when I was in high school down to the coast of California. We went to Bodega Bay and Monterey a lot, toured the different lighthouses along the coast. I spent ages at a time collecting sea glass on the beaches and just watching the waves.
6. Your last meal on earth? Last meal I had? Smoked salmon. What I'd want for my last meal ever? Pepperoni pizza and breadsticks from Round Table.
7. Favourite Author and why? I can't choose just one and all of these I consider favorites because I made it a point to read damn near everything I could get my hands on from each one after finding out I liked their works. So: Neil Gaiman, Ray Bradbury, Laurel K Hamilton (though I do mourn what the Anita Blake series was before it became insane), Abigail Roux, Avril Ashton, Rhys Ford, AJ Rose, SE Jakes, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, etc.
8. The ultimate pet and why? Kitties! I love cats. Even though they are inherently douchebags, I love them.
9. Childhood toy, name and do you still have them? (e.g. Mine was a white dog teddy called Dodger) I had a stuffed Dino and I no longer have him.
10. Do you have a piece of jewellery you never remove and why? I only ever take off my wedding ring when I shower. It's a wavy black onyx (I think) band I bought for less than $10 at a pagan store in downtown Folsom. For the first year or two after we got married (it'll be seven years in March) I wore different stone rings I bought for cheap from that store. Some were sturdier than others and they all broke over time. This one has lasted me for the last four or five years now. If it ever breaks I'll probably buy a similar ring off of Etsy for five times what I paid for this one.
11. What one thing freaks/creeps you out the most? Not a huge fan of talking dolls or the disembodied sounds of children. (Being able to hear neighborhood kids laughing and playing all hours of the day through my closed office window freaks me out.)
