Dissidia is not worth it
I think I spelled it right. So my boyfriend got me an early birthday gift cause I LOVE final fantasy he got me Dissidia nt. I was so excited and it was quickly killed. The entire game only has two types of battles. Standard that involves taking down opponents and core battles that involves shattering the enemies crystal. This is ALL the game has. Story and online battles are the same as trial standard battles. These are the only two features of the game for battle. Leveling up character’s is pointless it doesn’t make them stronger just unlocks new skills that aren’t all that fantastic. Now summon battles are the same as standard battles but worse. The summons are ridiculously powerful and difficult to take down, your guard doesn’t last long enough nor work quick enough. When you get knocked down it takes way to long to get back up. I went to a message board and there’s been maybe 3 people that I saw who managed to take out one or two summons and even then it was still ridiculous.
So all in all my boyfriend spent what $60 dollars on a brand new game that only has two features of battle, gets boring after 3 battles, and ridiculous bosses.
It felt like dark souls but at least I could grind and level up which actually makes a fucking difference in battle and kick ass later. Why would I grind for hours just for new skills but no increase in health or power?
I also think one of their maps might be broken or maybe its just on my PS4, Eden glitches several times freezing my character’s in place which is really annoying.
I feel so bad my boyfriend spent so much money on this game that I don’t even want to play after 2 days and being complete stuck.
