I have to confess somewhere around the camp arc it felt like the author was starting to wrap up the story quickly. The pacing didn't seem to be so fast in earlier chapters. But maybe it's just me.
Never the less i still think Talentless Nana had a good ending. Especially since it's rushed I think it's better they kept the ending bittersweet and open like that. I like that Rin thinks about how it's possible to get along with her brother again as his sister and to know that Jin is seemingly still doing ok somehow. Even if his future still seems unsure.
The moment between Nana and Nanao was... narratively confusing. Because it seemed like all prior development never happened. But I guess it was to show that he is in a very bad shape right now?
The final end where we see Nana coming to see and "half parting" with Michiru was done really well. It felt really emotional, not knowing what the future will hold for everyone now. And her confessing to her how she is actually talentless really rounds up with the series title and ending the story.
I think it would be nice if they think about maybe making an epilogue some day. I really want to see what happens after the surgery. 🥹

Part One (Niwatori Fighter, Ichijyoma Mankitsugurashi, Witch Hat Atelier, I Became Best Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in my Class)
KAMIINA BOTAN FULLY BLOSSOMS WHEN DRUNK
This was 100% the surprise of the season...
If anyone who has read any of these posts before (or follow my page) y'all will know that I'm a huge Yuri lover, so I'm always in the lookout for new Yuri anime and while some end up falling through the cracks (I use the genre system of MyAnimeList to look for new Yuri or at least CGDCT since those end up being at least very bait at times lol) I try to include at least one or two Yuri anime on my to-watch list.
This time around it was time for Kamiina Botan, one which I didn't know anything about and was expecting it to be at best a top 4-5 anime for me, the results?
Anime of the season.
That's it, this is my anime of the season without a doubt. I swear I didn't know I needed a show like this up until now lol.
It was just so damn perfect in every way. I loved each and every character here, how low stakes it was (just a group of girls drinking and living their everyday life while also falling in love with each other), all the cute moments it has between all the pairs, the art direction and how thanks to the lack of a set art director we have had a different art style on each of it (sometimes more subtle, sometimes more noticeable), the music of yonige being so incredibly good and perfect for the series. I swear every single thing in here was just adapted above and beyond that it's astonishing how good everything was.
I absolutely loved the relationship between Ibuki and Botan and how it developed. Botan helping Ibuki be more comfortable drinking with other people while also her becoming more forward about her feelings while sober was actually really good to see. I also liked the Chin Lan and Gujo relationship as well since Gujo was really shaping to be the "losing heroine" of the series after the rejection from Ibuki back in episode 5, lucky enough Chin Lan came the literal next episode and made 100% sure no girl was left without a partner in the household by the end of the season lol.
The artstyle changes were so good to see too. I know episode 3 wasn't everyone's cup of tea with the much less detailed artwork, but imo creative things like that are really a delight to see and that scene where Akane plays some music and both Ibuki and Botan were just vibing to it while drinking, that scene was just so relaxing...
And this isn't saying that the rest of the episodes were bad visual, quite the contrary imo lol. The anime is just insanely beautiful to look at in pretty much every scene, from the movements to the overall design of the characters it was insanely well done and incredibly pretty to look at.
One thing I also love is how the show kinda goes in contrast of how romance is portrayed. You have the vast majority of the girls being more context/"read the room" kind of romance where they won't say it out loud, but you can definitely feels the vibes of what's going on... And then you have Chin Lan and Drunk Botan being really forward with their feelings lol. It was just funny and kind of refreshing seeing how subtle everyone was and then you had drunk (or at least kinda tipsy) Botan saying "I would like to make that tongue of yours mine" on EPISODE 1, or almost fucking with Ibuki until the latter said that she's not ready, and also Chin Lan being really forward with her feelings against Gujo who was taking things way more slowly. It was a very nice contrast between the two main couples and how they bounced off each other.
Music was also amazing. I have yet to hear yonige's music outside of the anime (didn't have time) but holy shit if it doesn't fit in the absolute best way with the anime. From the OP to the ED (probably the best OP/ED combo of the season imo alongside Marriagetoxin) to the insert songs they were really beautiful and were perfect for the anime in every possible way lol.
Hell, even the drinks they showcased were amazing as well! I'm at most a social drinker (only drink at family gatherings) but the way they showed them made me actually want to try them; only problem is that I'm in Venezuela and not Japan, so it becomes a bit of an issue to me lol.
This anime was truly THE hidden gem of the season. This is probably recency bias, but this has to be the best Yuri anime out there without a doubt, and my AOTS as well.
AGENTS OF THE FOUR SEASONS: DANCE OF SPRING
Speaking of hidden gems...
Okay, I know I compared this show quite a bit with Violet Evergarden on my first impressions post, but this show can 100% stand on its own two legs without an issue.
This was such a good anime. It has a really interesting world and good characters as well, it knows how to deliver and handle emotional moments EXTREMELY well, and also has some pretty good fight scenes sprinkled in it as well. I swear it feels kinda wild how underappreciated this show ended up being lol.
I loved Hinagiku a lot, you just feel so bad for her throughout the show and how badly she was treated while being kidnapped as well, she deserves so much happiness now that everything seems to be more under control; Sakura was also a highlight with how devote she's towards protecting Hinagiku and with a lot of reason too, she was in the absolute shit before that and was shunned by pretty much everyone before meeting Hinagiku and her being the first friend she ever had.
I especially liked their relationship and how it was displayed, you could say that it's kind of a one sided Yuri due to Sakura clearly having a crush on Hinagiku, but in my opinion just the fact that, even if their relationship isn't a romantic one, the bond they share goes so deep and profound that it 100% transcends any romantic partnership and it clearly shows on that final scene with Hinagiku telling Sakura that "no matter how much she loves any boy, she'll (Sakura) always be the girl she loves the most". The bond they share is indestructible and no matter what label you wanna put on them in my opinion it goes far beyond that one.
Going back again with the characters, the other Agents were also pretty good characters too, I'd especially want to highlight the Summer twins, they were actually pretty fun to be around imo in their moments of screentime lol.
Now I do have a complain here, and it's the Hinagiku/Rosei relationship (and the implied Sakura/Itecho relationship as well)
Honestly Rosei and Itecho were kinda decent on their own, but the crush/love that Hinagiku has for Rosei felt more like a goal rather than something natural imo. There's just not that many moments for me to actually think about them like a good endgame, it just felt like having to add a straight romance for the sake of it and, even if Hinagiku and Sakura put up work, it almost felt like a "blue prince rescuing his princess" kind of deal with how both Sakura and Hinagiku get the high ground as soon as Rosei/Itecho enter the final battle.
I dunno, it kinda felt a bit forced imo, same with what seemed to be Sakura's slight crush on Itecho based on all that blushing. It was pretty meh and I don't really care about it in general. Honestly if I wanna summarize it it'll be kinda like that comic where two girls are like "you are the greatest person I've ever met and I can't live without you" and the next panel goes like "so I'm gonna end up with this guy who I barely have any connection with!" lol.
But outside of that, it was actually such an amazing show that I wish it was more appreciated. Hopefully time helps it's case and gives it some popularity overtime, because it was really good.
MARRIAGETOXIN
Honestly just call this post the section of surprises lol
Alright, first of all, I wanna apologize if my last post strictly regarding this show, I was watching the anime really superficially at that moment and I didn't get the actual message of not conforming to what the others want you to be at the moment, so I was genuinely curious on why Kinosaki being male was more or less a plotpoint that was thrown to the side for a while. I'm sorry if that post looked like it was in bad faith as I really didn't intend to, but I can see how I missed the point of the with it. Also thank you to the people who commented on it correcting me as I was genuinely on the dark there as I said before.
Now, onto the thoughts...
This one took a bit to convince me, but it definitely left me with a really good taste in the end.
You see, at first I wasn't that on board with this anime, as I wasn't caring that much about it, but by the end of the first episode I would say that it definitely had an interesting premise to at least keep me watching.
Oh my God I'm glad I did because this was actually surprisingly good lol.
The animation was actually really on point and the music was pretty great as well; good characters and a story that continues to keep me interested as the season went on.
For starters I wanna talk about both the OP and ED, since as I said earlier it's literally the best OP/ED combo for this season alongside Kamiina Botan. Kill or Kiss is such a good song that it's going pretty under the radar and the ED song being sung ba Akasaki? I know him mainly because of Bunny Girl but Shake na Baby is actually such a banger as well that I very likely think it might be the best ED this season lol.
Now, going for the characters... I swear everyone seems to have great chemistry with Gero lol.
Like it seems kinda obvious. You have Kinosaki who is the one that spends the most time with Gero so of course he'll have a deep connection already, but then you also have Himekawa, Ureshino, and Arashiyama who all of them seem very endgame material? I swear the dynamics between all of them and Gero are so good that I just don't want to see anyone lose (I'm all in for the Yaoi route btw lol)
Now, going for the story... Honestly as I said before I was watching the show in a pretty superficial manner since at first I wasn't entirely sure if I would like it, but overtime it started really shining and it managed to keep me vastly interested into what was going on. I can kinda get an idea on where it's headed but right now it's kinda early to tell lol. Overall the arcs for each girl were actually pretty good and it definitely made me start liking the show more as it went on, so not much else to say lol.
And lastly the fight scenes... Honestly this is what interested me the least lol, but if I'm continuing to be honest here they were really well animated, especially the final fight vs the Beast clan leader because that was actually pretty insane to look at lol.
Honestly a good and fun anime. Looking at what was set for the now confirmed S2 it makes me pretty interested on what's to come.
And that's it! Honestly it was a really good season altogether with lots of surprises in general. I really wasn't expecting to see the list end up like this but here's my top 8 of everything I saw:
Kamiina Botan
Witch Hat Atelier
Agents of the Four Seasons
Marriagetoxin
I became best friends with the second prettiest girl in my class
Daemons of the Shadow Realm*
Ichijyoma Mankitsugurashi
Rooster Fighter
* = Yomi no Tsugai/Daemons of the Shadow Realm is going for a double cour, so it won't have a review here but instead next season
See y'all in a few days for the Summer 2026 first impressions post! lol
As Botan becomes anxious as she is worried that Ibuki only likes her as a drinking buddy rather than in a romantic relationship. As she finds out the bad news about a certain something, it feels as the world is crashing down. However, there is more to that story. From last time, Akane notices that … The post Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana – Episode 12 (END) – Ibuki Takes Her Relationship Further appeared first on Chikorita157's Anime Blog . Spring season is over and honestly, I feel that I'm usually enjoying much more Slice of Life anime rather than action oriented anime lately, and this season kinda shows it lol. But enough of that, let's get into the reviewing!
NIWATORI FIGHTER
This was going to be separated but I honestly didn't had any motivation to do that post so I just decided to dump it here with the rest lol.
Honestly while I hyped it up quite a bit on the first impressions post, I will say that in the end... It was alright.
That's it. Not the best, but not bad either.
Just... Alright.
Lemme explain. After the first episode I just felt like the show got stuck quality wise. Like sure it was fun to watch and turn the brain off, but outside of that it just feels like it didn't manage to shine in any way possible, like it just took the safest route and decided to stick with it the entire time.
Which kinda makes sense since this is the most typical shonen anime but instead of humans it has its main gimmick being chickens the main protagonists, and while I do appreciate that they decided to go pretty accurate with them, imo that gimmick ran out of steam after the 3rd episode and what was left was a story and characters that didn't do much for me most of the time.
But let's go for some positives first: Both the OP and ED were actually pretty damn good; the OP was actually pretty well done and the ED was an unexpected banger, also the 3D animation was nicely done and Morio's character was probably the only one I actually stood out to me enough to put here, which also made his introduction arc with the town flood be the best in the season (which makes me say that I actually lied here, as there's one thing where this show does stand out, and it's the fact that it can manage emotional moments quite well lol)
But outside of that, I didn't really care for the story nor the characters, nor the little romantic plot between Keiji and Elizabeth, nor that plot near the end with Keiji's brother either. Hell, I would even say that the final arc with the Kijins dragged on for too long to the point where I was just bored of it and wanting it to end.
I really wanted to like this show more, but honestly it ended up just being an alright anime to pass the time at best.
ICHIJYOMA MANKITSUGURASHI
Funny how both shows that are at the bottom of my ranking are the ones finishing first lol
So this was more of a Slice of Life/CGDCT anime with very little hints of Ecchi at the end lol.
In general I'm gonna say that... It was nice. Honestly It was more or less how I expected it in a lot of areas: okay animation, nice characters, good humor, and overall a chill anime to watch.
However, in stuff like the Yuri department (in which I wasn't expecting it to be a surprise Yuri but at least with a bit more oomph for shipping purposes) and the Ecchi (maybe I'm spoiled because of MahoAko, but I usually end up expecting very risque stuff in this department lol) it felt more... tame, I guess? Like it almost forgot that it could add those elements up until the very end and by then it only went in small doses lol.
But in general I would say that I ended up liking it. Funny enough just like with Niwatori Fighter the OP was surprisingly good, or at least I'd say that it definitely fits with the series imo.
Nothing else to say, this was a chill time. Now I'll just wait until clips of it start appearing on Instagram reels and/or YouTube shorts, because this show definitely has that vibe of "anime that not a lot of people saw when it aired but will get recommended out of nowhere by the algorithm anyways" lol
WITCH HAT ATELIER
I think just saying that this show managed to make me break my unwritten rule of no reading the manga until the season ends would make you know how do I feel about it lol
This show was beyond phenomenal. From episode 1 it captured me so much that my love for it was kick-started right away. From the story to the animation, the characters, the music, the lore, the magic system... Everything really felt like both the author of the manga and the people at the animation studio really put such care and love to this world it's amazing.
But let's go a bit deeper. The animation was absolutely incredible from the very first second and it never stopped being peak. From episode one this show came in swinging with some movie quality animation where even subtle movements were given such fluidity that it's insane; from stuff like the obvious Qifrey scene in episode 5 or Euini as a wolf in this final episode, to the more subtle ones like Coco breaking into tears at the end of episode 5, or Richeh showing genuine anger in this finale once again, everything regarding this show animation was absolutely outstanding.
The story is just so freaking good as well. We are on a slower side sure, but the world; lore; and pacing really makes it so you can immerse so much into the story that when stuff hits it hits hard. As I said before I usually have a rule that, in order to not spoil myself, I avoid the manga of any anime I'm watching until the season ended but for this it was pretty much impossible lol. I wanted to know more about the world and it's characters so much that I just dived right into it as I was watching the show, but this is about the anime so I'm gonna stick to that for now. I'm just gonna say that I do not regret it at all.
The way the story was paced throughout this first season was so good that even the "Coco is sick" arc with Tartah, which I didn't care much about in the manga, it ended up being my absolute favorite episode of the season without a doubt. It elevated the source material so well that I was just astonished by how good it is.
The characters were amazing too, which I actually kinda expected since in some places this was some sort of blueprint to TOH and it shows, Coco and Agott really remind me of Luz and Amity with their personalities so of course I'm loving to see the inspiration for them. So far Agott is my favorite, with Olruggio being a set second as the manga progresses but rn for the anime Coco and Tetia are 2nd and 3rd, even then it's so hard to choose because I love every character here so much lol...
Music was amazing too! I'll admit, I'm usually not a fan of Eve's music (not for me ngl) so knowing that he's the singer for such an amazing OP was actually pretty crazy, it's just so good. And the ED doesn't fall off behind at all, it's a really nice piece to end up the episode that it's actually kind of underappreciated in general lol. Overall from OP to ED AND soundtrack as well they all work really well to elevate the show to new heights lol.
Now, my only complain about it? It should've been 24-25 episodes long lol. Now, this isn't only because I wanted more, but also because the perfect way to end the season was right there at chapter 40, but this is only a nitpick in my end because I'm thoroughly enjoying seeing how everyone is losing their shit over the massive cliffhanger they gave us as a season finale lmao.
Truly a gem of a show all the way through, hopefully we can get the second season soon because what we'll get is gonna be even more amazing than what we got here.
I BECAME FRIENDS WITH THE SECOND PRETTIEST GIRL IN MY CLASS
I've heard a lot of romcom enthusiasts that this show was actually on the generic side of things, but honestly I'm.still a newbie to this genre so I didn't actually notice it lol.
This was a cute anime all in all, as I said before I'm still new when it comes to romcom anime (I think I can count every one that I've seen with only one hand) so I don't know a lot about the genre, but in my opinion this felt like a chill anime to watch and destress a bit. The plot had a nice pacing and the characters were pretty neat all things considered.
One of the things I really liked was the fact that there was not that much "will they; won't they" because I think by episode 5 both Umi and Maehara were pretty much aware of the feelings towards one another, only that they didn't make it official because Maehara was insecure about it at the moment (for a good reason tbh) but needless to say, this anime was filled with lots of cute moments between the main couple, which was pretty much what I signed for here lol.
Honestly I quite liked the characters, they seemed to bounce each other well enough and the best part is that there's literally no love triangle at all lol. Umi in general I really liked her more chill attitude that also had a more direct approach with her feelings as well, which in turn helped Maehara be more straight with his feelings towards Umi and with that we ended up with a really cute relationship of friends-to-lovers lol. Yuu was also a good character and the one you would expect to be the "losing heroine" of the story, but in reality she's the biggest shipper of the Umi x Maehara pairing without a doubt lol, she's such a good friend and in general a fun character imo.
Another thing I liked was the fact that the drama was made outside of the main couple, since they just talked it over and were okay afterwards the main source of drama came from interesting spots like Umi's relationship with her (now reconciled) ex-friends and the insecurities/trauma that Maehara ended up having due to the divorce that his parents went through. It was honestly very well laid out and an interesting subplot while we worked out on the main two becoming a couple.
In general a good anime, not exactly my favorite at all but still a very enjoyable one imo.
Final thoughts on The Amazing Digital Circus now that its been marinated in brain juice
Mostly about Jax
Under read more, it's going to be long
1. Is Jax Redeemed
No
I read the spoilers before seeing the episode on Youtube, I am weak-willed
Negative reviews did make me weary of the episode, and I wasn't that excited for it
But one thing that stood out
Posts saying Jax was redeemed or became the MC and all that jazz
Jax did not get redeemed
He realized he messed up, he knows he did wrong, that's step one of a redemption arc
But he does nothing to change, improve, or make up for it
He still says to Pomni that he hates her, that she complicates everything, he isn't taking much responsibility for his actions, doesn't apologize, he keeps doing bad things
And because he could have had a redemption if he tried is the tragic part
But he tried
He tried reaching out to Pomni, but said "whatever"
"Whatever" was his last words, I clocked that immediately
And because of the spoilers, before I watched the final episode, I was thinking that Gooseworx took the death equals redemption route with Jax, which is a cop out and the character doesn't have to work for anything
It's actually a bit sadder because death prevents Jax from redemption
2. Jax's Mind
I think it's important to say that the characters in Jax's fantasies ARE NOT the real characters themselves, it's just what Jax thinks of or ASSUMES they will do
Mind Pomni
Real Pomni didn't outright say she could fix Jax, Mind Pomni was a mashup of taking Ragatha's place, Pomni's friendliness, and Jax's self-conscious
Why the choking
Yeah, that was out of left field, it looks like Jax dissociated and had enough of everything then tried to play it off as a joke or to get Pomni to back off once and for all
Violence being his solution to it is concerning though, showcases his mental health
Mind Gangle
I think that this isn't Jax's original what-if of Zooble abstracting
Because of Gangle's Mask and the maid dress
The plastic mask was never used before until episode 4, none of us or the characters knew of it, and the same can be said of the maid dress in episode 5, so after those two, Jax's what-if changed to include this new addition
That scene at the end
I'll get back to that in point #5
Mind Zooble
Here we see the depth of Jax's belief that everything was fake and a cartoon
The fourth wall manipulation, the cartoon physics
Jax is still trying to grasp that everything is fake and doesn't matter
Final Room
Until the three Jax's all yell at the chained up door
He knows it's not fake
Everything was real
His emotions are real
The emotions and actions he made other characters feel or do were real
He can't pretend anymore
3. Isn't She Lovely
I'll be honest, if I hadn't read the spoilers, I think the trans reveal would have gone over my head
Yeah, we got the egg reference in episode 6, I didn't think of it was a trans thing but emotional vunerability, I knew others thought it was trans related
Yeah, the secret Jax told his mom plus the ribbon could have indicated what the secret was, but how did Ribbit get to take conclusion?
I would've been like, what's up with the ribbon
Even knowing about the reveal, I was wondering how the ribbon proved anything
I see how others made the connection
Then the song
I think at that point I would've gotten that Jax was trans
But the song itself
I don't think it fit
The "she" was the only part that fit into the scene
The mood of the song, the meaning of the song, I can see what Gooseworx was trying to do, but it was a stretch
Female Jax being revealed (born, coming alive, coming out into the world) is different from a newborn child of black parents
I'm sure there are songs out there by trans artists about coming out that would've fit much better
It's a good song
It was not the song for this scene, I think it was used because it was easy with it saying "she" outright
4. Episode 4, Fast Food Masquearde
I posted only two theories after Episode 4, neither are true
First theory was thinking that Jax was an NPC
One clue was the license plate JAX.001
I now think it just means that Jax was alone and didn't have anybody
Second theory was trying to tie in I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream
Jax asked if nobody can see what was going on in the training segment
I was thinking there was an outsider viewer who was like AM
Later, I was thinking Caine could've been AM
Now, looking back after watching the finale, I think this is the first time we see Jax falter
He got nervous and it got the best of him, he was hoping that it won't be something others can mock him with if they see
Because ultimately, Jax is afraid of what others think of him
It's what started the whole Ribbit thing
And after experiencing something normal, going back to the crazy circus and adventures probably gave all the characters whiplash
The masquerade was only for a short while but had a lasting impact
5. I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, IHNMAIMS
The show was pitched as being inspired by IHNMAIMS, and I've been thinking of ways that TADC was like the short story
I think it was inspired by the video game
(Unless Gooseworx stated if was the short story)
It could be inspired by the very basic concept of a computer terrorizing humans and nothing else
No war, no warning of misusing technology, no merciless AI, no super tragic ending, just computer terrorizing humans
But that's like saying Star Wars was inspired by The Lord of the Rings because they're both a hero's journey and that's it
In that case, yes, TADC was inspired by IHNMAIMS short story, but barely
But then there's the video game which differs from the short story
Which
I think the show is more like the video game
Spoilers
At one point, someone turns digital, there's a good ending where AM is shut down, people can repopulate the earth, but the character must stay digital to patrol the supercomputer
The characters in TADC are digital copies
The characters stay in the circus
The outside world moves on
Caine is not destroyed but turns good
And in that case, yes, TADC was inspired by IHNMAIMS VIDEO GAME
Lastly, as for thinking who the AM of the story is
Is it Jax?
He's the merciless one, he tortures the other characters, he had his whole spiel in episode 6, he's the one that quote-unquote dies, when people try to help him, he freaks out, that scene with the Mind Gangle and all the violence fits AM perfectly
I think Jax is AM
Which is neat to think about
The human is the mean one that can't change
And the AI is the one who is able to love and grow
And with Jax being the AM, it fits the video game to a T, and explains the finale being mostly about Jax and helps keep Pomni as the main character
Final thoughts
I think TADC did what it said it would do, but like putting in B grade work into a project when you could've put in A+ work, simple fill in the blank stuff
But that's the same for a lot of things
And I guess Gooseworx had a crash out, I didn't follow that much

Finished The Boys last night AAAAAND I have some thoughts-
The ending was definitely something. Did I like it? Sure- I guess. I mean it wasn't necessarily bad I don't think BUT there were lots of places I think they could have made it better, or maybe just things that I personally would have liked to have seen.
Primarily being Homelander - now don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved seeing how pathetic and helpless he was without his powers, how he was begging for mercy. BUT as much as I loved that, I would have ALSO loved to see him snap before we reached that point. I mean- the whole season- no, the whole SERIES was just a slow build up to Homelander's crashout and we never got it. The closest thing we got was in his daydream back in season 2.
He was a walking, talking, ticking time bomb and they had so much potential to just let him crash the absolute ever loving fuck out but they didn't. It would have been so cool to see them lean into the unhingedness of the comics and have him go on an absolute killing spree. He was dangerous at the beginning and became so much more so by the end and I wish they would have demonstrated that. I don't think the ending was bad, I do think there were missed opportunities though.
Overall, I still love The Boys and it will always have a dear place in my heart, definitely on my top 10 list of favourite shows.
not the worst ending i've seen by far but even for a series like this one, not the best.
i understood initially why ritt was upset with everyone, despite his own lies, because he felt humiliated by the people he trusted. but once everything was talked through and all apologies were made, his continued anger was baffling and seeing him allow it to keep him from the grandfather's bedside as he passed, knowing that man had no part in the lies and loved him like family, was upsetting
their reunion, months later, was anticlimactic and a little disappointing compared to everything that came before
and while pure and pitcha had a better story and healthier relationship, their ending also felt rushed
in the end, it was an interesting concept and a fun distraction but not the greatest story telling for me
I saw the finale and even though I got spoiled a month before, I still want to say that it was one of the best endings I've seen for a series.
I expect the Soma theory to be true, I like to see this mind copying as a metaphor for healing for their real versions, like leaving an old version of yourself so you can continue to change for the better in the future, like writing all the problems on a piece of paper and then setting it on fire.I know, it's a bit hard for me to explain...Yes, even these old versions of them managed to thrive in a very difficult environment, and I'm proud of that. But for someone like Jax, it wasn't easy to overcome the problems...I'm happy that the real version managed to move on and find stability
I don't know how to say it, but this series meant a lot to me, and it always will.
I didn't realize it at first, but when I heard the theme song at the end of the pilot, just like the title says, "your new home", the series has literally become my new home, but now it's over and I have to leave the house (the fandom), where we formed beautiful memories, we enjoyed a lot of fan arts, fansongs, fan fictions, theories, live streams with the actors, conventions and many others, we laughed, we cried, we were sad, we were happy, but now, like the real life versions of the characters, we have to move on...
Unfortunately I wasn't invested enough in posting content for this fandom, I let my anxiety and low self-esteem to win, but I enjoyed appreciating the artists...
I want to thank Gooseworx, Glitch, the artists who worked on the series, the amazing voice actors, and especially the fandom full of very talented artists, you brought me joy...I really don't want to go...
(Btw,I'm sorry for my bad English)
It was a nice Birthday present, but now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go and abstracting...
