You've guessed it - I am still thinking about Multiverse of Madness!

And the more I do, the more America Chavez' story line bothers me. I love her character, I like her backstory and her powers, but it just didn't work for me.

Her mothers are shown once and then never mentioned again - even though they were ripped from her in the worst way imaginable. And then, when the final fight comes, America can suddenly control her powers, because she somehow "could all along". That just made no sense to me whatsoever.

Which is why - surprise ;) - I decided to rewrite another scene!

I want to unbutton them one by one.

I wouldn’t mind at all if they made an appearance/scene at the resort hotel in Brighton, but I suspect our earl and Sebastian will run into other people there... like perhaps the Viscount of Druitt or even the queen and John Brown (possibly also Double Charles). If Undertaker and his reanimated ward did show up in Brighton, it might be with Undertaker dressed as a gentleman again, like at Weston... and they could play (grand)father and (grand)son, though it wouldn’t be much of a pretense for Undertaker, as far as I can tell. It would very interesting to see Undertaker openly play that role, since he’s played “informant to the watchdog” for so long.

Apparently I get drawing inspiration from song lyrics and I act on it now (guess it’s not a one time thing after all)

The hero cries out, clutching their weapon close to them. The dirt, grime, and sweat clear on their face as fire lights up the entire area. 

The villain staggered up, struggling to stand, but refusing to kneel to this fool who’d costed them their army, their livlihood, and their plan at grand power. They would’ve had the entire planet in their iron fist and be the ultimate, pinnacle of all, but this creature had to show up and ruin it all.

“You don’t get to say that to me!” The villain shouted back, clutching first at their wound on their arm, and then at nothing. “I’ve come so far, I’ve done so much! You are nothing compared to me and you never will be anything other than a worm under my boot!”

“Look around you! There’s nothing left! You have nothing! Just give up and we can work things out!”
