Here is the video package for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship match taking place at the final New Japan Pro Wrestling Destruction event for 2016. That event is called “Destruction in Kobe”. Down below are matches that will take place on September 25th both in Kobe (NJPW’s Destruction in Kobe) and Indianapolis (Raw’s Clash of Champions) with predictions as to who will walk out as champion by the end of the night. I will be patternizing each match based on title of the event from both promotions (WWE and NJPW). Also, I will be putting a number in parenthesis letting everyone know not only who the champions are but that they are the __th champion.
Destruction in Kobe: Six-man Tag Team Match: Chaos (Beretta, Rocky Romero, and David Finlay) vs. David Finlay, Henarae, and Hirai Kawato
Clash of Champions: Kickoff Women’s Match: Nia Jax vs. Alicia Fox
Destruction in Kobe: Tag-Team Match: Bullet Club (Chase Owens and Yujiro Takahashi) vs. Hunter Club (Captain New Japan and Yoshitatsu)
Clash of Champions: WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Challenger Brian Kendrick vs. Champion (80th overall, first in the new era) T.J. Perkins
Destruction in Kobe: Six-man Tag Team Match: Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Teruaki Kanemitsu, and Tiger Mask vs. Ryusuke Taguchi, Togi Makabe, and Tomoaki Honma
Clash of Champions: Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho

Clash of Champions: Best of Seven Series Match: Antonio Cesaro vs. Sheamus
Destruction in Kobe: NEVER Openweight 6-man Tag Team Championship Match: Challengers Bullet Club (Adam Cole and The Young Bucks vs. Champions (7th overall) Matt Sydal (formerly Evan Bourne), Ricochet, and Satoshi Kojima
Clash of Champions: WWE Raw Tag-Team Championship Match: Challengers Bullet Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) vs. Champions (56th overall) The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and/or Xavier Woods)
Destruction in Kobe: Eight Man Tag-Team Match: Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Kenny Omega, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Roa) vs. Hirooki Goto, Jay Briscoe, Mark Briscoe, and Tomohiro Ishii

Clash of Champions: WWE United States Championship Match: Challenger Roman Reigns vs. Champion (81st overall) Rusev
Destruction in Kobe: Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Chaos (Gedo, Jado, Kazuchika Okada, and YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH representatives Atsushi Kotoge, Daisuke Harada, Naomichi Marufuji, and Toru Yano
Clash of Champions Main Event: WWE Universal Championship Match: Challenger Seth Rollins vs. Champion (2nd Overall) Kevin Owens
Destruction in Kobe Main Event: IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match: Challenger Tetsuya Naito vs. Champion (14th overall) Michael Elgin
Down below are my predictions of who will each match that is taking place on September 25, 2016 at Destruction in Kobe and Raw’s Clash of Champions
Destruction in Kobe opening match winners: Chaos members Beretta, Rocky Romero, and David Finlay
Clash of Champions Kickoff match winner: Nia Jax narrowly defeats Alicia Fox
Destruction in Kobe Tag-Team Match: Bullet Club members Chase Owens and Yujiro Takahashi will win over the Hunter Club because anyone who teams with Captain New Japan is most likely destined to lose almost any match with his involvement.
Clash of Champions WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match winner: Predicting that T.J. Perkins will continue his “Cinderella” story over veteran Brian Kendrick and retain his title.
Destruction in Kobe Six-man Tag-Team Match winner: Going with the team of Ryusuke Taguchi, Togi Makabe, and Tomoaki Honma because I don’t know how Teruaki Kanemitsu fits in all this.
Clash of Champions Singles Match winner: Going with Chris Jericho over Sami Zayn
Destruction in Kobe Tag-Team Match winner: Predicting that the team of reDRagon beats the team of Manabu Nakanishi and Yuji Nagata
Clash of Champions Best of Seven Series winner: I’m going with Cesaro on this match as he will be on a winning streak by this one victory against Sheamus
Destruction in Kobe NEVER Openweight 6-man Tag Team Championship Match winner: Though I would side with the Bullet Club on this one, unfortunately I have to side with the champions because I don’t know if Adam Cole and the Young Bucks will have the chemistry to win the titles.
Clash of Champions Raw Tag-Team Championship winners: Bullet Club will grab another as members Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will make history by joining two other teams in winning IWGP and WWE Tag-Team Champions. Bullet Club reigns over New Day
Destruction in Kobe Eight-man Tag Team Match winners: Bullet Club representatives Bad Luck Fale, Kenny Omega, and the Guerillas of Destiny will send a message when I predict them as the winners over Goto, Ishii, and the Briscoe Brothers.
Clash of Champions Raw Women’s Championship match winner: Hate to say it but Charlotte will retain over Bayley and Sasha Banks with Nia Jax possibly breathing down her neck.
Destruction in Kobe Six-man Tag Team match winner: Hoping Tanahashi, Parker, and KUSHIDA win over Los Ingobernables de Japón because they won’t have their leader to back them up this time around.
Clash of Champions WWE United States Championship winner: Going to say that Rusev will somehow retain and continue his second reign as the 81st overall United States Champion.
Destruction in Kobe Eight-Man Tag-Team Match winner: The four members of Chaos which includes Kazuchika Okada will reign over the representatives of Pro Wrestling Noah.
Clash of Champions Main Event winner: Have to say that Seth Rollins will become the 3rd WWE Universal Champion by defeating Kevin Owens in this only their second match against each other.
Destruction in Kobe Main Event winner: I hate to say this but with Elgin going in not 100% after that attack by Los Ingobernables de Japón, Tetsuya Naito will become the 15th IWGP Intercontinental Champion thus starting a dark day within pro wrestling.
That’s all. What you have is what you see and I hope everyone enjoys both events. For those who may not be able to watch or enjoy New Japan’s Destruction Pay-per-view events, I will be providing links for all three events on Monday night so that you can see and watch the results. I will do the same thing for Clash of Champions for those who may have streaming problems as well as those who don’t want to pay in order to watch a sporting or pro wrestling event.
