I get called Hispanic or Latina way more times than I can count. I’ve actually been accused of lying about my biracial status even though my last name is white as hell. I've also been brushed off as “not a real Asian” because according to everyone, the Philippines is either composed of only Spanish people (as if we don’t have our own culture) or isn’t part of Asia.
