Like dude was stuck in a time loop for god knows how long and every time he dies a horrific death each day. He tries to protect everyone because that’s his nature, he’s over protective. He wants to save this camp. He wants to show that he can be more than a scrawny man. But messes up entirely trying to get everything in his hands. Because he wants to prove himself.
And not even just Joshua in this file either
Jedidiah is so interesting in this one aswell. I forgot which wall it’s called, but when you reach the top, it tells you how to prevent a loved one’s death. Jedidiah so badly wants to climb this. Because, Sydney and his father have already died. But Joshua stops him due to his over protective nature with the time loop
And now this brings me to another theory of that lucielle may die.
Not sure exactly, but I think this season may focus on lucielle a lot more this season. The first person to speak in it, lucielle. The grandfather clock on the cover, lucielle. Lucielle has a lot to do with fire too.
Considering Jedidiah wants to prevent another death, they wouldn’t just put in that potentially someone else could die..! Knowing blue, this is foreshadowing. Jedidiah does not know how to prevent this death because he never got the chance to climb the wall.
Anyways file 21 will always be my favorite in s1 because of. Orange party. (Amongst other things in that ep) but this episode has always interested me. And I never see anyone talk about it

After looking into it, we may have found a lead. While there are multiple Royal Air Force bases a few hours away, there’s a training facility in Brighton that is no longer in use. Since the last location was an abandoned building as well, there may be a good chance of finding something here.
We’ll send someone out there soon to investigate.

Imagine having to watch most of the people you care about (or at least mildly tolerate) die dozens of times and be the only one who remembers, subsequently tasking yourself as the person who has to save them because you’re the only one who knows what will happen, only to find out that it was mere coincidence you were the outlier of the loop and then feeling like your entire struggle was pointless because all you had to do was tell your weird coworker what was going on and boom problem solved. Devastating.
Joshua telling Sydney that he wouldn’t believe him about the time loop??? You just KNOW he tried to say something to somebody at one point (probably Yvonne, especially considering it seems like the only two people he told were Jedidiah and Sydney) who most likely didn’t believe him. Which must have absolutely tore him up considering he was living a nightmare for at least a couple of months. 🥺🥺🥺
