Hey there so here goes part 2 for my fanfic with Eric!!! Hope you like it! Itâs going to be shorter than yesterdayâs but Iâll do my best!!!
If you didnât read part 1 you sould so you can read it by pressing this title ->Â Bad Boy
After a couple of hours you and Peter went back to bed and you felt more confident and less irritated, the physical activity had helped you to get rid of some of the stress you had and you were quite tired.Â
As soon as you got to the room you got changed and dropped on the bed.
âYouâre not quite what they are going to expectâ Peter said from his bed in a whisper.
âI just hope Iâm good enough to passâ you said.
âWell if we keep doing this you definitely willâ
âWhere did you learn to fight?â You asked him.
âI donât really know how to fight, Iâm just strong.â
âI think you will be in the Top 3âł you said holding back a yawn.
âI know Iâm going to be on the Top3âł he said.Â
âIâm glad we trained.â
âGoodnightâ you whispered as you fell asleep.
âGood morning initiates!!! Time to get up and get some work doneâ Being woken up by Ericâs deafening screams.
You groaned and got up, you didnât really like the idea of changing in front of everyone so you just made an effort and turned around. You got changed and turned around again as Christina and Tris joined you.
âAre you ready for today?â Christina asked.
âGuess soâ Tris muttered.
Letâs say the training wasnât too gentle with any of you. By the end of it there wasnât a single part of you which didnât ache.
You had been very silent the whole day, truth be told, your behaviour from the previous day wasnât too common.Â
It took you a while to adapt and gain confidence in new places, and until you did you were shy. The previous day had been an exception because you were quite overwhelmed by everything going on. You had been focusing the whole day. You needed to learn everything you could before the tests started. Well, tests or whatever they were called in Dauntless.
While you punched and ran you remembered, remembered about the days spent in Erudition, reading about Divergents, about the human body and its limits, about love stories, fantasy, drama.
You had always been extremely interested on Divergents, discovering you were one of them shocked you and worried you.
You knew your initiation would be divided in two parts, and if you managed to pass the first one, you were worried about what would happen after.
You would have to be extremely careful with your actions during the second phase, you knew no one would help you.
That line of thoughts was stopped everytime Eric or Four would scream you were changing the activity.
When you finally finished training you went straight to your room. You showered taking advantage of being alone at that hour and got ready to go to have dinner. When the time came you headed towards the room and sat in the same place as the previous day.
You ate the same, but absentmindely, you couldnât stop thinking, thinking about what Eric had said, about not passing, about training with Peter that night.
âY/N?â Christina said snapping her fingers before your eyes.
âYes?â You asked snapping out of your thoughts.
âYouâve been off the whole day, is something wrong?â
âNo, donât worry, Iâm just tiredâ you said forcing a smile.
âWell, we all are, they are fucking crazy I mean, how can they possibly think we are going to get through this?â she asked. You chuckled. âWe are going for a walk after dinner, maybe get some tattoes, are you coming?â
âI think Iâll just stay away from those for a while thank you very muchâ you said with a smile.
âYou scared pumpkin?â a voice said behind you.
You just turned around and didnât answer, you really didnât know how to answer You were a sarcastic person, but you didnât feel confident to talk back.
âJust sleepyâ you muttered and turned back around.
âYou are aware he only talks to you right?â Will asked.
âYeah I know, Iâm the only one who managed to piss him off the first dayâ you said. âIâm really that luckyâ.
By that time all of you had finished eating.
âAre you sure you donât want to come with us?â Tris asked.
âYeah, sorry, I promise Iâll go with you another dayâ
After that they left and you headed to the room, there were some people there, about five initiates, Peter among them.
âHi thereâ he said dropping himself on your bed.
âThanks for making yourself at home.â you said laughing.
âI knew you were dying for itâ he said.
âWow, didnât think I was so obviousâ you muttered as you sat on the bed.
âSame time as yesterday?â he asked.
âYeah, but I think we should just train for an hour.â
âAgree. Iâll wake you upâ he said jumping off the bed.
You covered your body with the sheets and sighed as you felt your muscles relax.
Your whole body ached and you didnât remember being so tired ever. After training with both, Peter and the group for days you felt exhausted.
You turned out to be quite good at throwing knives and specially good at shooting. Your aim was quite good but aparently Eric thought otherwise.
âYou need to rest more of the weaponâs weight on your shoulderâ he said behind you.
You tried to change your position but you didnât quite get how to do that without losing the hability to aim correctly.
âYour aim is pretty good but you need to improve the position.â he took the hand which you used to keep the weapon steady and put it away from it. âStart by putting the shotgunâs butt on your shoulder and adapt your arm and hand  from thereâ he said pressing the shotgunâs butt against your shoulder and putting your arm aroung the weapon himself. âNow itâs betterâ
âThank youâ you muttered. His touch had made you really nervous, it made you feel bubbly and you werenât used to that so you just tried to supress your excitement and aimed at the target. Right in the middle.
âNice on pumpkin, maybe youâll even manage to pass the first round although your likely to lose even your first fight.â It amazed you how he was capable of ruining the nice thing he said with a rude one, he somehow managed to make the critic rough enough just to make you forget about the compliment.
Next day the fighting started, and letâs just say it wasnât nice. Eric didnât make you fight but Tris ended up pretty bad and so did most people who fought that day.
That night you forced Peter to make some promises. The both of you promised that if the two of you had to fight against eachother neither of you would go easy on the other one. The other one wouldnât get mad. Each of you would have to do their best. You were becoming pretty attached to Peter, and that was never a good thing.
After seeing Peter fight three times you had learnt his moves. You knew how he played around and tried to fool his enemies. He hadnât seen you fight against a person yet, so that was positive for you.
âY/N and Peterâ Four said âYour turnâ You were pretty worried. You needed to win this or you would have trouble passing the line.
âLetâs see what are you made of pumpkinâ Eric whispered as you walked past him.
You knew Peter would try to move first so you didnât bother to try to start. He was right-handed so you knew what side he would attack from first.
When you saw him start to move to the side you hurried to move to the opposite side and kicked him as hard as you could on his stomach, he flinched for a second and then went back to the fight.
He tried to  kick you this time, but you managed to move away in time. After that he aimed at  your fight ant managed to make you tumble, you threw at him a couple of punches which landed on his side and neck and somehow he managed to make you fall and pin you to the floor.
Before he punched you square on the face you kicked him as hard as you could between the legs and got him off you. You would need him to pass out in order to win. You started running through your memories looking for something useful as you pinned him against the matress.
You knew you wouldnât manage to keep him there for too long so as soon as you saw he was about to make you fall you stood up fastly.
You remembered there is a point in your neck which, if pressed correctly and for the right amount of time has the ability to knock out someone.
When he stood up you jumped on his back and as he stumbled for some seconds you got on arm around his neck and the other one looked for the point. As soon as you found it you pressed and counted. You knew Peter was desesperating so he started to try to get you off. After forty seconds he passed out and fell backwards, which made you be squeezed between his heavy body and the matress.
You groaned as the pain ran through your back. Got Peter off you and got him sitting down.
âTraining is over for todayâ Eric shouted and everyone left in a hurry as Christina and Tris smiled at you and waited at the door.
âFour please, take Peter to the infirmary.â
âCan I go with him?â you started to ask but Eric cut you off fast.
âI need to talk to you first.â you made some signs to Tris and Christina telling them to leave, they smiled at you reassuringly and left.
As soon as the two of you were alone your body tensed.
âWhere did you learn to do that ?â he asked you.
âI read about itâ you said.
âYou are bleeding, Iâm taking you to the infirmary.â he said.
âIâm not...â You started to say but then noticed the taste of blood in your mouth.
âYou shouldnât be friends with that boyâ he said.
âWhy would you say that?â
âHe isnât going to be happy when he wakes up. He needs to be the first one, and everything which represents a threat will be destroyed by him if he has the chance.
âWell I need to be sure he actually gets madâ
âYou just knocked him out, he is definitely going to be mad.â He said.
âWhat if he isnât?â you said just as your teeth scratched a cut on your lip and you let out a groan.
Eric turned around and held your chin firmly, yet gently, you almost felt like he cared. Almost.
âWell he managed to get you pretty injured before he passed out. And what you just said show a part of you still belongs to Amity. You need to see the good in people. and you arenât going to find it here.â he said as he ran his thumb along one of your wounds.
âIâd never go back to Amity, and if people donât even have the chance to show who they are weâd never do anything because it would change nothing. Thereâs evil in us, most of us are evil but if we donât give value to kindness or goodness it will eventually disappear.â
âMaybe thereâs no kindness to save anymoreâ he replied as he started walking again.
âMaybe thereâs never been any kindness to saveâ you said as you started walking too. You finally reached the nursery and after one of the nurses healed your cuts you saw Eric leaning on the doorframe.
âYou are staying until he wakes up right?â he asked.
âHe should wake up already so itâs no big deal, probably he is just sleeping due to the exhaustmentâ
âWell congratulations for that move, the fight was pretty amazing although you probably wonât pass the second fight.â he said as he turned around and left.
He was pushing you further, and you wouldnât break.
