One of my favorite things about new Smash character reveals, isn't necessarily the character; but rather seeing how happy that character makes certain fans. It's so nice seeing some people just, explode with joy- like so many people have been overjoyed with Sephiroth, and it's lovely to see. <3

A second Fighter Pass has been announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! This pack will include six fighters, with all characters planned to be released by the end of 2021.
The pass will be available for ore-purchase on January 28th. If you purchase the pass, you will obtain the exclusive Ancient Soldier costume for Mii Swordfighter.
Why do you want the Hunter in Smash?
It’s my favourite videogame series ever alongside Pokémon, why wouldn’t I want them to be in Smash?!? Okay, but seriously:
The games have had a good history with Nintendo, so they have a high chance of actually getting in. The third and fourth generations were almost entirely on Nintendo consoles and numerous Nintendo series like Animal Crossing, Mario or Zelda have had crossovers in those games. That’s also adding the fact that Rathalos, the Ancestral Steppe and Proof of a Hero are already in Smash.
The wide multitude of weapons would make for a really cool moveset. Like what happened with Byleth, but with even more variety. There’s 14 different weapons, imagine what they could do with that many move ideas. And don’t tell me “Hunters can only use one weapon at a time”. Look at Mega Man or all of the Pokémon. Fighters are allowed more choice than they have in their home series. And you could go even further by changing the armor equipped for each colour, like with the Koopalings or Villagers.
The music selection. Monster Hunter has absolutely fantastic music and I would love to see more people introduced to it through Smash. The themes of Zinogre, Valstrax, the final area of Raging Brachydios, and Iceborne Rajang in particular are ones I absolutely adore.
A minor one, but I’d love to see the fanart or headcanons people would make for them. Like, I could totally see them beating up Ridley with Samus or mistaking Incineroar for the Meowscular Chef.
