Thinking about the time I accidentally did decently well against multiple people at a competitive fighting game club by not actually knowing how to play the game competitively.
I like ice climbers, which is two characters attacking simultaneously, and the unbeatable competitive strategy with them is to "wobble" i.e. just keep grabbing and pummeling the opponent between your two guys in an infinite loop forever. Very difficult to escape from, so good sometimes they ban the character from tournaments entirely. I don't know how to do it, though. So the other person was constantly blocking, expecting me to start the combo, and in the mean time I hit them with lots of cartoon hammers until I won. It would have only worked the one time, but it was extremely funny. Highly recommend.
