8 for the asks ! (What are your top three films? Books?)
Hello lovely! Thank you for the ask! Top anything lists are difficult for me, because they change often, depending on my mood, or my memory...
For now, top three books are: 1) Carry On / Wayward Son (I can't choose one over the other. They have both had a profound impact on me). 2) The Fault In Our Stars - This book rattled me to my core when I first read it. It is beautiful, yet also soul crushing. 3) La Divina Commedia (The Divine Comedy) - Ok, gonna throw the history nerd card. This is technically a poem, but I love the translations as well. This poem helped me on my way to becoming obsessed with Florence and the Renaissance. As for movies... Ok, so here are my current favourites: 1) Howl's Moving Castle /Spirited Away - I'm in LOVE with the Studio Ghibli movies, but I CAN'T pick just one, so I'm choosing two movies that slapped me across the face with how AMAZING they were. 2) Rocketman - I recently watched this movie, and IMMEDIATELY wanted to watch it again. It was SO GOOD and the music was just *chef's kiss*. 3) Captain Marvel - I'm also obsessed with the Marvel movies. This one was my favourite one out the current released films. Thank you for the ask!
