Yours truly turned the big two-five over the weekend (quarter life crisis ahead, although I think it may already be here...) and there are a bunch of things I am yet to tick off my “oh my god I really need to do that because... well, I do” list. 

So here’s 50 Before 30 - a list of all I want to do before I hit the big three-oh. In no particular order... 

1. write a book

2. marry the love of my life (Michael, I’m looking at you) 

3. buy a house 

4. fit said house out in geek decor - really just hurry up and get my #MaraudersMap on the wall 

5. read Papa’s war diaries 

6. go to greece and see Mt Olympus

7. hang out at the colosseum

8. throw coins in the trevi fountain

9. go to an American comic con 

10. swim with a shark

11. knit my own scarf

12. walk through Hobbiton 

13. see a william shakespeare play at the globe 

14. meet david tennant 

15. drink champagne in vineyard in the champagne region of france

16. spend a day at the natural history museum

17. see the aurora borealis

18. walk past buckingham palace 

19. spend a day at the british museum

20. see the mona lisa at the louvre 

21. see the dinosaur museum in canada 

22. snowboard in switzerland 

23. start practising pilates every day 

24. see some part of the world with my best friend

25. own a louis vuitton handbag 

26. write for an entertainment publication 

27. meet hugh jackman 

28. road trip around some part of australia with the boyfriend 

29. spend a weekend away in a rainforest 

30. do a book challenge every year 

31. get fit 

32. stop being an emotional eater 

33. go snorkelling in fiji

34. learn how to play chess

35. fly in a hot air balloon

36. watch the sunrise on the top of a mountain

37. go star gazing 

38. keep a garden growing

39. get a pet and give it a geeky name

40. drink my way through a wine tour

42. spend a week on the beach relaxing

43. live in another country for at least three to six months
