✅ list one or two favorite lines you’ve written and explain why they’re your favorite:
EYE would first like to draw people's attention to my silver character study that approximately no one has read but i think it's really good <3 this is one of my favorite bits:
"Flint had known that, seen that. The two of you are the world in balance. And Flint had loved Madi for how she loved him, and had loved her for being his equal in all things, utterly united in purpose and determination– right down to loving the most dangerous man in the world for them, the one who would sacrifice everything for their sake. Because Silver wasn’t made so differently from them. They would sacrifice everything, and he would sacrifice everything. Their worlds were merely made of different stuff."
i don't even know if it has the intended effect on the reader but it kind of makes my stomach drop at the end of the paragraph like i don't know how to explain it. but literally their worlds were merely made of different stuff. anyway
i also wanted to shout out the diary entries from wasn't it a bit like now because i had sooooo much fun writing them. for instance:
"But Dan is special. Utterly selfless. Brilliant, and humble, sharp as a tack, unflinchingly kind and caring. Devoted to seeing humanity in each and every person he speaks to, to seeing the best of humanity in all of them. Not a cynic, like me. How to see the world for what it really is and still find love that deep and broad in your heart is both mystery and miracle to me. Do you suppose Hawk will be both? Cynic and lover? Skeptic and disciple?
THIS DIARY ENTRY IS DEDICATED TO FRIEDRICH ENGELS, WITHOUT WHOM NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE. "
i just loved getting to take so many creative liberties with what hawk's mom would have been like and figuring she would be a neurotic overthinking loud funny jewish girl from new york– no im not projecting who said that
💕 whats your favorite part of your writing process?: definitely the point where i have my whole outline written out and in the right order (because when im starting something i just write down all the various bits as i get the ideas and at a certain point kind of start throwing them in chronological order) but once i have it all sketched out and then can go through fleshing out each scene in order is when i can really get in the groove
send me fanfic qs?

Hi Maddie! I have recently come into possession of some records with mold damage on the sleeves - having trouble finding definitive answers online, wondering if you have experience cleaning vinyl/sleeves & have any recommendations?
the sad and not very fun answer is to throw the sleeves out and replace them. cleaning vinyl itself is entirely possible and done frequently by (the good) shops that sell used vinyl. at the store we would come across sleeves with all sorts of damage to them and ones that had tons of mold we’d have to get rid of them because you obviously can’t sell them. water damage isn’t the end of the world but if there’s mold i wouldn’t bring it into the house
