I was @gurdy.run.woolen.mill today. Picking up roving for @fiberartstudiotour and #tourdefleece2021 event 07/17/21 from 11am-5pm. My stop will have an outdoor spin-in and DIY batt making. Fun mill trip this afternoon! Got the full tour and a chance to shop some gorgeous fleeces and fun yarn! I picked up some locks to use in my felting (in addition to my order). And of course it wouldn't be a mill visit without a bite to eat at the Pepper Pod 😊 I knew that place has been around for a long while but learned this evening it's been in business since 1913! That's impressive! Anyhoo - had a great time ladies! All 950 pounds of the mill was unloaded thanks to my genius husband Bill who thought to mount it on wheels! Now for the cleaning of the drums!
