Still going through a buuuuunch of old asks but I saw this newer one and I just- YES!! 100% YES!!

I see so many systems get worried about enjoying things in life because "I'm worried we'll split over it" and like wonder if there's a way to avoid it and stuff and like

Enjoy life!!! If you end up with a new split or fragment finding identity, it was going to happen no matter what you did! Trying to avoid media will only delay the inevitable and deter you from experiencing things that make you happy

And honestly speaking we find a lot more success in therapy when fragments elaborate instead of staying formless blobs because it helps us understand our system better, and we can communicate better on the whole!!

Hello there! I’m Tim, a part from a fictive heavy DID system, and I’ll be the one running things here! I thought of this blog kind of on a whim before going into work and decided that, since I didn't see anything like it, I'd go ahead and make it myself!

What to expect from this blog:

Here, anything can be submitted so long as it has something to do with fictive heavy system culture! Whether that be fictive heavy system culture on its own, or something such as “autistic fictive heavy system culture is…”, as long as the content revolves around being a fictive heavy system in some way, it's good to send in!

I will attempt to write my own input on every single sent ask and avoid writing nothing of my own. I want this to feel more interactive and less of a detached posting board, and I'm hoping that'll help keep the atmosphere welcoming and comfortable for all parties involved!

General Rules:

Posts have to involve fictive heavy system culture in some way, but modifiers are allowed and encouraged! As long as fictive heavy system culture is included and the main focus of the post, it's allowed! EX: "Autistic fictive heavy system culture is..."

Posts can either be positive or negative in nature! Though please do keep in mind, if a post includes potentially triggering content, please leave a TW or CW at the beginning of your post! Since all of these posts will be public, I want to keep other people's wellbeing in mind as best as we can! I will also tag a post with any potentially triggering TWs and/or CWs for easy tag blocking.

Venting is allowed, but please label it as a vent with any appropriate TWs and/or CWs. Expect a slightly longer turnaround time for these so we have time to handle the post how we want to

This blog is made by an anti-endo system, and as such, this blog is designed for other anti-endo systems. If you are (pro)endo or non-traumagenic, I want to politely ask that you block us and do not interact. I will block anyone if I find them interacting myself, but I wanted to ask this out of courtesy and as a warning.

This blog is not a place for syscourse. Please refrain from bringing syscourse onto this blog. We are anti-endo as a stance, but we don't want to argue over it or brain other general syscourse here, since we want to keep the environment somewhat comfortable.

This blog is designed for all CDD system types! That includes everyone from DID, to OSDD, to PDID! So long as it involves being fictive heavy, you're welcome here!

You are always welcome to ask general questions or ask us questions personally! As long as you're respectful, we'll always do our best to answer where we can!

Singlets are free to interact and ask questions, but please don't send actual asks that are posts about being fictive heavy! This is a blog for systems specifically, so the majority of posts are going to be catered to that.

Please do not judge other people for their source attachment, as it is deeply personal from system to system and not something you can force one way or the other.

This is not a place to ask other people to source date or for you to ask for a source call. Established relationships are fine to talk about, but this blog is not a dating service!

Please do not include yumeshipping in your asks. I do not mind if you are a yumeshipper, however I am not involved with the culture and don’t feel like I have the proper nuance to answer those asks to the quality that I would like.

We have an alter who's very source attached and it's like...man you want to go back there? Even with the knowledge you have?

Even if you could, which you can't because you are an introject and not the actual guy, why would you want to go back??

We have so many shards, and occasionally they'll see a character and go "yeah sure" +1 fictive 🥹

This, but with our pinterest feed 😔

We usually go there to find images for a specific guy and then learn that another fragment was lurking and decided to also get attached to something else

I need to make a banner that just says something like "FICTIVE COUNT =/= SOMEONE'S VALIDITY!!" haha

Because it's true! Whether your system has one fictive or is all fictives, that has no impact on whether or not you "count" as a system, and I wish people didn't automatically assume so

We had something tangentially similar happen with a guy or two

We love reading fics that have a DID angle, which is kind of a double edged sword

Because on the one hand, I love the ideas people come up with and that feeling of understanding a character because of that relatable angle as a system ourselves. On the other hand, sometimes our brain gets too much inspiration and it can get a little out of hand

FICTIVES 👏 AREN'T 👏 THEIR 👏 SOURCE👏 !!!

I swear people think fictive instantly means that you just copy and pasted the fictional character directly into your head

Like...I feel like people need to start learning that just because a fictive is a fictive doesn't mean they're canon compliant or following the source to a T

I mean, I'm a fictive of Tim Drake, but I don't really act anything like source from what I understand. Fictives can have source traits or be source attached, but some are also so detached that if someone says they're a fictive the other person would just get flat out confused

I'm just attached to how Tim Drake looks and the name and stuff but I'm obviously not actually him, because I'm not a fictional character, just my brain's self-made impression of him

Oh boy. YEP

We have several, and I mean SEVERAL different source characters that our brain pulls from where splits often do not pick a new name

I mean, I'm one of several Tim Drake fictives that goes by Tim!
