"We need another roommate!" Joan shouted from the kitchen.
Fabio rolled his eyes. Joan had been saying that all week. 'We need a new roommate. Rent is too much. How are we going to cook all the time? We have too much space.' Fabio really didn't see the point.
He could always ask Vale for extra shifts when he didn't have classes. He wouldn't mind if it meant Joan and him could live out university together.
Joan came out of kitchen, wiping his hands on a towel. "I'm being serious Diggia! Extra shifts aren't going to make up for lost rent when we need food as well."
Fabio rolled his eyes. "Fine! I'll make a poster tonight and we'll see who calls."
Joan smiled. "Good!" He walked back into the kitchen and Fabio watched him go. Sometimes he regretted moving in with his crush.
"Now, who's ready for spaghetti bolognaise!" Joan calls out, and Fabio bangs his head on the table.
Joan was right.
They needed a new roommate soon.

"Aha!" Bez calls from one of the boards. He rips one of the tabs off and shows it off to Sava. Sava takes it from Bez's grasp and look at the two numbers.
"I know those two guys." Bez smiles. "You'll love them. Fabio- Diggia, because there's already another Fabio- works at the track and is super cool." Bez holds all his friends in very high regard. "And Joan is an amazingly kind soul. Always looking out for people. Luca and him get along extremely well and they're both funny."
Sava looked back at the numbers.
"Text them." Bez points at the paper in Sava's hand. "They'll love you."

I have a job at cafe on campus! I work casual hours, but it is normally tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays!

Joan nodded, sitting at the table doing the crossword from yesterday's newspaper. "Mhmm. He seems like a good choice. Better than the others."
Fabio fully faced Joan now, his hands resting on his hips. "Do you like him?"
I like you, Joan thought. "Yeah. I think he'll be good."
"Great. Because I think Bez wants us to marry him or something." He laughs. "He keeps praising him like he's trying to get me to blind date him."
"Bez sucks at setting up people." Joan chuckles. "He tried to set up Franky and Mig, remember?"
