legendary line
bold choice of square to end the FFX story after your fight against seymour on mt. gagazet. very bold. personally i wouldve wished for a scene that shows sin seymour destroy spira instead of a boring GAME OVER but i cant deny its a fitting end to a sad story about death. truly one of square's most innovative games.

"Dream Zanarkand is a location in Final Fantasy X that exists far out on the sea of Spira and is known as a city of light that never sleeps."
wow...city that never sleeps...you dont say...that sure sounds familiar...

the clip didnt save right so i only have the shots. but basically hes saying that the hymn you hear in every temple, being sung by the fayth, wasnt always a symbol in favor of yevon. the al bhed actually started spreading it in defiance (they didnt come up with it obviously since it used to be a song in real zanarkand) and to save face the yevonites made it a yevon thing.
but then that implies that the fayth also started singing it in defiance of yevon. because if they had sung it from the start it wouldve always been a symbol of yevon.
anyway back to a GOOD FF, namely X. playthru going well apart from me missing the item in the first temple (and the walkthrus like YOURE FUCKED!!! YOURE FUCKED NOW!!! gotta love jrpgs) and ive been trying to record or screenshot some of the dumb shit (positive) to post about when i accumulate enough
