So many Gladio asks tonight, it must be my birthday *heart*

Out of the four of them, Gladio has the best poker face when it comes to crushing. He doesn’t let it show that he’s sweating more from watching Ignis train in the gym than from his own work out. He keeps a straight face when Noctis curls up on his shoulder after a long and tiring day. And with Prompto… well, please let me indulge in my OTP for a moment.

Whether pre-game, in-game, or AU, I love love love to see Gladio have it bad” for Prom. Like, staring at him adoringly when he thinks no one is looking. Secretly teasing him just to get a rise out of the kid (cause he’s so cute when he’s mad and pouty) and then pretending he didn’t realize what he was doing. Offering to give Ignis and Noctis some private time because he actually really wants to share a bed with Prompto. 

Well, maybe he isn’t as subtle as he’d like to think. Ignis catches him in the act a few times, but doesn’t say anything because he’s a Gentleman, but seriously how can Prompto not pick up on these vibes?? 

As for the others; 

- Prompto is an open book. The minute his crush so much as looks at him (*cough Gladio with those bedroom eyes cough*) he’s blushing and sputtering and grinning like a loon. 

- Ignis is subtler but not a perfect mask. His smile is his giveaway. He only smiles – truly smiles, like eyes soft and mouth relaxed kinda smile – around people he feels completely comfortable with. Once someone manages to unlock the smile, he’s much easier to read.
