Just because I have seen it yet, there's another person in FF14 fandom getting called out now, over on Bluesky, first by Deathflare/Mila and then by a victim who prefers to remain anonymous. https://bsky.app/profile/deathflare.bsky.social/post/3mnktsuutcj24 I know it's not a competition, but this one is genuinely the worse of the two situations. Ren/Persephius who also has gone by synchroshipping and byletri is a horrific abuser and that victim's testimony was incredibly harrowing to read. Jay is a fucking jackass, but Ren is an honest-to-god monster who uses fandom to find victims.
If you're going to read the victim's testimony, be warned as there is verbal abuse, emotional abuse, gaslighting, manipulation, threats of physical violence, racism, transphobia, misogyny, threats of suicide and suicide baiting, and faking medical issues. I might have missed a couple, it's A LOT.
