Hey there!

First off, I’m still adhering to my hiatus. Neither  OTWD  nor  How to Train Your Parents  will be updated until July at the earliest. I’m extending this to include the 2 MCU fics I started:  Hearts of Iron  and  My name is Robert. I do sincerely apologize for the wait.

Second, please please understand that the brainpower and time it takes to write a oneshot is fundamentally different from an update in a multi-chapter fic. There are a lot more things I have to think about, plan, and execute, while oneshots I can write while being largely free from expectations, deadlines, and plot constraints. They’re my way of letting off steam, and explore the feels (and trust me there is no shortage of those after Endgame).

OTWD especially has been plotted out until the end of what I would like to call the first “Book”, so I would feel more comfortable if I hammered out the plotholes and characterizations, as well as how Book 1 connects to Book 2, before I continue updating it again.

That takes a significant investment in time. Time which I do not have.

I think most authors agree that when writing becomes a chore, it stops being fun. I don’t want OTWD or HTTYP to ever stop being fun, for me, because if that happens, the quality will suffer, and they will stop being fun for you.

2: What scene did you first put down?

Oh, I wish the answer for this is weren’t so boring

The first scene I wrote for OTWD was the first scene of the first chapter, where Finn is looking at the sunrise and jumping down the observation tower and running through the village :P

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

Oooo, this one is actually in the future! I have a lot of good scenes in the future. But of the chapters already posted:

[CH7] Snotlout: “After all, you already are.”

[CH8] Nuffink: “You’re… uh… you’re my friend, Sig.”

I think those 2 lines showcase the siblings’ personalities very well, which is why I like them :)

BTW I haven’t got the chance to catch up on Serendipity yet, I will do that today hopefully! Sorry :s
