Task 008 // Social Media

Tasks are not required, but they are encouraged as they’re designed to help develop nuances of your muse within the game, hopefully bringing them more to life in your head and helping you connect with who they are.

This Task is “Social Media.” Though it’s easy to think of the fey as ethereal beings above the modern plane—and in some ways, they are—they still spend the majority of their time and days in current day modernity, along with the humans they tempt and trouble. This task is for you to consider what a social media account / post / blog might look like for your muse. You can use a .psd if you’re graphically inclined to do their Instagram or some such, or you can make a Chat post of their Twitter posts, or a written blog entry—anything you want!

Task 007 // Personal Influencers

Tasks are not required, but they are encouraged as they’re designed to help develop nuances of your muse within the game, hopefully bringing them more to life in your head and helping you connect with who they are.

This Task is “Personal Influencers.” Find 3 people who have influenced your character and helped them to become the person they are today, whether that’s a positive or negative influence. They can be people from their history, family members, friends, other played muses, celebrities, fictional characters—anyone who had a strong influence on the way your muse sees the world and the kind of person they’ve become today.

Surroundings

Bedroom:

·         On the 11th floor of The Atlas, his apartment received lots of natural light, and while the Unseelie are more creatures of winter and the dark, Hyacinth loved all the light, him and his plants which he grew inside his apartment, and inside his own bedroom. Anywhere one would look, they would find a potted plant, aerial plants fixed on the walls or hanging from ceiling pots. Inside his bedroom, his bed is always perfectly made, but sometimes with the faint smell of wood smoke and citronella. His bookshelves are filled with old journals he had made through the years, documenting his studies on herbs and medicine plants. Also quite the romantic, he kept poems he had written for and about past lovers.

Favourite food:

·         A meat lover through and through, Hyacinth has developed a preference for roasted meat, preferably over hot coals, or sometimes over a wood fire. The smell of smoke and the flavorful meat whet his appetite like no other food can. In recent years, he has developed a love for shawarma – something he’s only had an opportunity to taste in New York, where cultures from different countries could be found at any corner.
