You didnât know why you were sat in front of your living room today like a slouch, staring at the black screen as its reflection stared back at you. It was already in the late hours of the night and you felt like absolute shit as you were waiting for anybody to walk through the door to hold you.Â

Are already left with Mingyu for an impromptu date, despite it being already three in the morning and you were stuck at home alone, your phone mocking your state of being in front of you on the coffee table.Â
âI hate you,â You muttered out loud bitterly, when your phone flashed bright for the time while the lockscreen on it remained untouched, âGod, I hate you so much.âÂ

The agony of the heartbreak that you were going through, was that you were still freshly in love with him, the idea that he liked you back, or even cared for you as much where you felt at home in his presence like you once were in the past. You enjoyed the comfortable feeling so much, up to the point where you were now crashing when that warm presence was no longer with you.Â

Three simple knocks resonated from your front door as you looked up from the table to glance at it, debating whether or not to open it in case of a stranger. He took the time to make it when you knew he must've been exhausted from the day before snapping your head up at his voice when he mentions the cursed lockscreen that was suddenly in his possession.Â
âI think you should change it, Y/N. Here Iâll get you a new one,â He suddenly and gets up to hug you into his arms before snapping a picture with a small peck on your forehead as you barely had any time to register the action itself.

It was strange for the thirteen members and Ara to buzz in the familiar gang leader that stood at the gates of their base, considering that he arrived there in a span of minutes after Seungcheol finished texting him. All eyes were on Hongjoong as the door was opened for him by Vernon, a cunning smile on his lips as he looked at all of them with a glint in his eyes.Â
âItâs good to see you all again,â He muses before clearing his throat slightly and clapping his hands together, âAlright, so where are we doing this?âÂ
The group all walked together to the large conference room that was located on one of the higher floors in silence as they all thought to themselves about what Seungcheolâs big plan was. However, he didnât know himself what the outcomes could be after they find your location.
By the time that they all make it up into the room, they were all gathered around the technology that illuminated in front of them at the center of the table. Seungcheol started navigating through different programs in order for them to reach the portal for Hongjoong to input the numbers that correlated to the chip that was somehow implanted into your ankle, just like you had one in his.
Looking at the said individual next to him, he moves to the side and watches as he punches in a memorized set of coding and almost immediately a dot appears on the gridded map that was on the wall. It flashes actively as they all looked at it, wondering whoâs territory that you couldâve been in and there was a silence that filled the room until someone spoke up that resonated each of their thoughts.
âHow did they find her all the way out here, what the hell?â Hongjoong mutters to himself as he presses a few buttons that managed to pull up files of other gangs around the area.Â
âHow the hell did you do that?â Vernon looks at the individual in disbelief as his comment goes amiss, just when a specific leader shows up on the screen besides the gridded map. Â
âSo where is Y/N?â Jeonghan asks from the back wall, watching all of the action go down in front of him as Hongjoong looks at him with an eyebrow raised before pointing at the file that was in front.Â
Looking at the file, all of the thirteen members recognized the area to be under the Neo Culture territory, one that was dangerous for only thirteen of them. It wouldnât be easy getting you back from there whatsoever, considering they were rendered ruthless and intolerable, but at this point, any of them were willing to go through that in order to save the sanity of the other members that had deeper connections with you.Â
âIn order to get Y/N back, we need to first let the use her as bait to reach out to us and then get her back at the ball, where theyâll least expect it,â Hongjoong proposes as the others look at him in disbelief.
âAnd if that doesnât work? Thereâs too many of them, isnât there?â Ara asks him in disbelief and Seungcheol shakes his head in response before speaking up one final idea that he had been thinking about the entirety of it.Â
âThen letâs make an alliance. Seventeen and Ateez, allies of our areas combined. We both have all of the strongest members and all of the latest technologies, besides them. What do we have to lose?â He proposes to Hongjoong calmly and gives him a calm look, holding his hand out for the other to take, if he accepted the deal, as the latter looks down at it before looking back up.Â
âAnd thereâs no catch to this, Choi?â Hongjoong asks suspiciously crossing his arms in front of his chest as the others looked at Seungcheol expectantly, wondering what his next move was going to be, and where he was going to go with it.Â
He was insane for wanting to declare alliances this far into their mafia gang rankings, but it was enough where they wouldnât be outnumbered, nor were they going to be overpowered.Â
