May had been in Kalos for a few days now, with her usual halved team and a spring in her step. Coumarine City, the port city she’d stopped in, had been welcoming, and even had a gym that May had battled. While that wasn’t the problem, something else was.

The problem was, once she’d rested up, explored Coumarine City, and stocked up on supplies, the locals - including the gym leader - had recommended she go to Lumiose City next... and Lumiose City, as May had very quickly figured out, was the biggest city she’d ever been in.
