Yeah like honestly it was useful to me for a while and let me develop my own identity outside of what Catholicism taught me but I just..don’t think it applies anymore.  I used to be such an asshole atheist oh my god, like one of those r/atheism fucks. I was a Terrible Human Being  

But as I grew I became kinder and more accepting

And I decided I was going to stop disregarding people’s personal experiences?  Like I’d always been interested in the paranormal and my atheist friends were always like “lol it’s all bullshit” and I just sat here like “I don’t think it is???”

also if someone says they believe they remember things from a past life or have visions who the fuck am I to say they’re faking? Like...it’s just rude honestly.  I really got tired of seeing other peoples’ beliefs shit on, even if I didn’t understand them

and then I just kind of did some introspection as my brother got into witchcraft and Hellenism and I was like...this makes sense? I trust them. I’ve been letting them draw protection symbols on me and give me stones infused with strength for like two years and it feels nice and right

and i feel...something?  a vaguely warm feeling and a Goddess I’ve always been drawn to, even as a child
