New Fusions
Orange Quartz
(Brockite + Star Ruby)
Purple Calcocite
(Blue Coral + Star Ruby)
Fettelite
(Blue Coral + Brockite + Star Ruby)
the merger of Blue Coral and Brockite will be a mystery, equal to Sardonyx :3
"Who could this be?," you might be wondering... Well, allow me to introduce to you the fusion of Fettelite and pre-corruption Black Opal... Sunset Opal! While they rarely were ever fused (due to inter-gem fusion still being taboo on Homeworld at the time) together they made an incredibly powerful life-draining force, able to become more powerful the more enemies they defeated! She laughs quite often and tends to turn everything into a joke. She has an immense love for herself and desperately wants to stay herself as long as she can. She also tries her best to look really, REALLY attractive at all times. If anyone so much as smudges her makeup, they get turned to dust. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!
Chained
âFettelite!â Fordite yelled as she saw her approach towards the base, âYouâre back! You took so long, I was worried about you!â
âOh, donât you worry about me, sweetie, Iâll always be fine,â Fettelite purred with a tone of voice a smooth as milk, âAnd Iâve brought my friend that I want you to meet, too!â
Fordite excitedly ran up to Fettelite to meet her friend, but got confused when she couldnât find anyone, âUm... Fett? Are you sure you brought her?â
Fettelite chuckled as if she just heard a decent pun before reaching into her hood and bringing out Black Opalâs gem. She presented the iridescent gem to Fordite who looked at it wide-eyed as if it were the most beautiful thing sheâd ever seen, which wasnât wrong, exactly.
âSo, what happened to her? Was she in trouble when you found her?â Fordite asked in a worried tone, hoping nothing was wrong with her.
âOh, no, donât worry, sheâs perfectly fine, save a bit of corruption. Sheâs just going to need to stay in some sort of... cell for a bit until she gets better,â Fettelite said slightly nervously, quickly putting the gem back into her hood, âSee if you canât ask Variscite to give you some chains or something to keep her from running away in the meantime when she regenerates, okay?â
Fettelite rustled Forditeâs hair before retreating to the base itself. Fordite was slightly curious about why she was acting so strange, but she brushed it off as her just being anxious about seeing an old friend. Fordite knew that sheâd certainly try to like Black Opal, even if she was corrupted, since she knew how important she was to Fettelite.
Variscite was hard at work trying to contact other gems in outer space when Fordite came up to her lab, which was located on top of the base.
âWhat can I help you with?â Variscite said, clearly peeved at her work being interrupted, âDo you need some big invention to entertain you for a few seconds? Or maybe you want me to upgrade your Enlistment Stand in order to have some sort of use?â
Fordite tried to shrug off those comments and chuckled a bit, âN-No, no thank you... I would like your help in something, though. Fett said she needed some chains and I was hoping youâd maybe help me with my abilities a bit more in order to make the supplies for you? I mean, youâre clearly busy, so I understand if you canât do it now but-â
âChains? What exactly does Fettelite need chains for? Does she really intend to keep the gem she brought? Does she not realize the amount of raw strength that can come out of a corrupted Black Opal?â Variscite said as if she were trying to explain simple math to a small child who couldnât understand it.
âHow did you know she was... Right, your tracker; I keep forgetting that you know so much because of it,â Fordite said, âBut... Will you make the chains? It shouldnât be too hard, right? This gem means a lot to Fett, I think.â
Variscite crossed her arms and huffed, âSheâs an idiot for thinking that that gem will be anything but feral, but I guess this is a decent excuse for me to examine a gem that has at least some amount of corruption in it...
âFine, Iâll make the chains... Although in reality itâd be best to make an entire containment facility; we donât want to have our entire base of operations destroyed by a wild gem.â
âA-Alright! Thank you! I really appreciate the help!â Fordite said cheerily in hopes of eventually trying to get a smile out of her, âJust tell me what I need to do and Iâll-â
âNo, no, Iâve already got the supplies I need. Besides, I donât want you taking any unnecessary credit,â Variscite said more monotone than normal, âNow, will you leave me back to my work? Iâm actually getting close to finding more worthwhile gems, as opposed to you and your... stand.â
âOh! Oh... Sure! Iâll get out of your way, sorry!â Fordite said, hurt by the words Variscite said. More particles came off of her than usual as she went back down to the base.
Variscite turned back to her screen, quickly typing away hoping that whatever Fettelite brought wasnât going to ruin everything she had planned.
Banishment (A Green Diamond Rebellion Story)
âAlright, sweetie, Iâm going to reverse the corruption a little on you, alright? Just enough so you can remember a few things like how to heal. Donât worry, the reversal shouldnât got as far as to make you remember what I did, so you wonât have to suffer with those memories.â
Fettelite tightened her grip on the beastâs face while her gem began to glow, and suddenly the terrifying monster began to almost melt. Layers upon layers of scales and fur started to fall off until only a towering, humanoid woman covered in spikes stood in front of her, chained to the cave wall. Her arms and legs were unnaturally large an clawed, and the clothing she wore was torn at the elbows and knees. Surprisingly, her torso was significantly more intact, almost as if her torso was the only thing fully recovered.
The beast woman collapsed to the ground, heaving and huffing heavy breaths. She then snapped her head back up to face Fettelite, snarling and gnashing her teeth. Fettelite didnât react to the violence, she seemed to expect this reaction from her; Fettelite instead just summoned her weapon and quickly stabbed the woman directly in the chest. She twitched for a brief moment before retreating to her gem, which clattered on the stone floor.
Fettelite picked the stone up, brought it to her chest, and then stored it in her hood for the walk back. She desperately wanted to bring Black Opal back to her old self, but she knew that she was the one person who would no longer trust her; not after the atrocities she put her through. She only hoped she could at least train the feral beast that was left in her place to do what she wanted.
As Fettelite was being shipped to the Diamonds for judgement, Black Opal sat directly across from her, looking at her disappointedly. She enjoyed every moment they had spent together, and Fettelite wasnât normally one to just give up, but all of a sudden, here they were sitting in a government vehicle about to be tried for treason and murder. At least, Fettelite was, anyway.
Black Opal could see the massive Blue Diamond statue looming in the distance; they were getting closer and closer to their fate. Just the thought of not being able to see Fettelite again crushed her, but she had to focus on what was important; starting the Rebellion against Homeworld.
For years she had hated the tyranny of the Diamonds; their reckless disregard for other living species on other planets, their constant over-colonization, their inhumane ways of treating gems, just the thought of having to live like this for the rest of her life made her a combination of angry and depressed. She had finally found another gem who had shared her hatred for the Diamonds, and now she would be alone again. As long as one of them were still on Homeworld, they could have a Rebellion, though, so the situation could be worse.
The transport vehicle slowed to a stop within inches of a building made of marble with the instantly recognizable Diamond Authority symbol above it. Fettelite was shoved out, Black Opal was helped down and given a strong pat on the back by the fifth generic Quartz solider sheâd seen today. She caught up to Fettelite and took her by the arm, trying to give the appearance she was going to give her to the Diamonds herself, but she just wanted an excuse to be with Fettelite before they were separated.
The doors opened to reveal rows upon rows of pews, with many gems dressed in formal courtroom wear. At the end of the room was Blue Diamond herself, sitting stoically on a high pedestal. The Quartz soldiers wrenched Fettelite out of Black Opalâs grasp and threw her in front of Blue Diamond, not caring if any harm were to come to her or not.
âSo... the infamous Fettelite... What brings you here today? Are you being charged for the countless murders of our people? The destruction of public property? The spreading of treasonous lies of what we here at the Diamond Authority do? Or are you just here because you got bored of all the action and just wanted it all to stop?â Blue Diamond said in a cool, commanding voice.
âFuck off, you crystallized blue piece of-â Fettelite would have finished her insult had she not been shoved back onto the floor by one of the guards. She was disappointed that she couldnât say it in time; she had saved it for a moment just like this.
âWell, regardless, you know what happens to gems like you that commit atrocities like that, yes?â Blue Diamond asked. She answered her own question promptly after, âNormally, itâd be banishment. Youâd be shipped off to another planet, forced to work at the Kindergartens until youâve made enough gems to replace the ones you killed. However, I think that youâd personally hate living on some desolate planet all by yourself, so Iâve decided to give you a reprieve.â
âThe fuck are you talking about?â Fettelite asked with her face mushed to the floor.
Black Opal was just as confused. Would Fettelite get to stay on Homeworld? Would she become a soldier? Would she be-
âKilled.â Blue Diamond said bluntly, âYou shall be shattered, effective immediately. We canât have gems like you roaming around anywhere, not even on another planet.â
Black Opalâs eyes widened and she wanted to shout something, try to get them to stop, but that would only draw suspicion to her. Some of the Quartzes were already looking at her funny since she had âcaptured Fetteliteâ, and she didnât want to reaffirm anyoneâs doubts. She just kept to herself as she saw Fettelite get lifted into the air and...
Fettelite wasnât sure what else to do. She wasnât a fan of the whole dying thing, and she certainly didnât want to die to a replaceable Quartz. She looked around to find Black Opal, hoping she would do something, only to notice she was just holding her tongue and looking away. Fettelite knew she would die if she did nothing, so she did the only she could.
Fetteliteâs gem began to glow a blood red color, and Black Opalâs back suddenly arched back. The soldier holding Fettelite paused to look at what was happening, and then dropped Fettelite onto the ground and drew her weapon. Black Opal grew the ten times her previous size, fangs and spikes protruding out from every part of her body. Her mouth was just a void filled with teeth, waiting to be filled with crushed gems.
The guards attacked, but to no avail. Black Opal quickly crushed each of them before they could even land a blow, destroying their gems completely. Blue Diamond fell back from her pedestal in surprise and began to evacuate herself from the facility, seeing as all of her guards had immediately died. Once Black Opal had finished off the guards, she turned to the fleeing gems who were watching the âtrialâ take place. The pounced on each of them, smashing their gems like they were made of butter.
In the confusion, Fettelite began to sneak out, but she suddenly felt a massive sense of guilt. She turned back towards the beast which she had previously called her lover. She called to her and suddenly Black Opal turned towards her. Fettelite drew her weapon and Black Opal charged. Fettelite dodged her attack and sliced the beastâs belly wide open, causing her to retreat back to her gem. Placing the gem in her hood, she ran back to the transport vehicle and made and drove her way to space port.
After swiftly killing any opposition, she hijacked a shuttle and plugged in the coordinates for the first planet she could think of. After letting putting them in, she started the ship and began her flight to Earth, keeping Black Opal near her at all times, hoping she wouldnât regenerate and destroy the ship from the inside.
Upon landing three weeks later, she set down Black Opalâs gem and waited, hoping that she hadnât sustained too much damage from the fight. After just a few more hours, the beast had re-emerged from her gem and began her attack once again towards Fettelite, but she was prepared. Fettelite once again dodged, but instead of returning an attack, she clamped a large chain onto the beastâs neck.
She dragged the beast along with her, ignoring the swipes that were being thrown at her and then secured the chain to the wall of a nearby cave. After one final goodbye, Fettelite left Black Opal in that cave, hoping that she would never have to see her face again.

Reminisce (A Green Diamond Rebellion Story)
Fettelite put her hand gently on the giant beastâs snout. It felt like a strange combination of fur and scales, but she didnât care how it felt; all she cared about was talking to them.
âItâs been so long, hasnât it? Over six thousand years of you being locked up here...â Fettelite said as if she were talking to an old friend, which wasnât exactly wrong, âDo you remember who I am? Heh... I guess you would, or you would have already crushed me where I stood.â
The beast didnât respond with anything legible, just more snarling and thrashing. They seemed a bit more calm in Fetteliteâs presence, but at the same time they seemed utterly terrified of her. Fettelite wasnât at all phased by any of this, she was just focusing on the creature standing in front of her, reminiscing about the times they had.
âAlright, and with a few adjustments here, youâre all patched up, then,â Black Opal said in an optimistic tone, âNext time, itâd probably be best if you left the talking to me instead of trying to slice your way through everyone.â
âWhat can I say? I get bored easily,â Fettelite replied, sitting up off of the table she was lying on, touching the newly-repaired surface of her gem, âBesides, I get to see you fight, which is a treat for everyone, really.â
Black Opal smirked at the compliment, but then turned away from Fettelite and started typing a few numbers into a computer. The two of them had been causing a lot of trouble lately, and Black Opal still needed to maintain her image of being Blue Diamondâs chief medic. In order to infiltrate into the Diamonds, it was good to have someone on the inside, and Black Opal was even better than Fettelite, who was already a prodigy at the fresh age of 4000.
âListen, Iâm worried that we may have gone too far this time. While you may be all gung-ho for the killing parts, youâre leaving a trail of shards now. Youâre being recognized more often and if you donât clean up your act, Blue Diamond will personally expel you from Homeworld,â Black Opal spoke in a grim tone,
âAnd you and I both know that you belong here with me,â Black Opal turned back around and took Fetteliteâs hands in hers, âAnywhere that you go, is where Iâll end up.â
âWell, that wasnât exactly the most romantic pick-up line, but itâll do,â Fettelite said before placing a kiss on Black Opalâs cheek, âBesides, youâve gotten me out of worse trouble. I have faith in you.â
Black Opal smiled again and let go of Fettelite, returning to her computer. Suddenly, a look that could only be described as âOH, SHITâ came across Black Opalâs face as she saw a massive amount of soldiers approaching their hideout through her cameras. Black Opal shot up from her desk and began to collect her things.
Fettelite, confused, asked, âSweetie, whatâs wrong? Is everything alright?â
Black Opal gave Fettelite an angry glare and said, âNo, clearly nothing is alright, as you should be able to tell by my running around collecting stuff. They fucking FOUND us, you idiot!â
Fettelite didnât even seem to react to the fact that her hideout was found, and instead of rushing to collect her things, she stood up, brushed herself off, and presented herself to Black Opal. She stood there for a solid thirty seconds before she was even noticed.
âFett, what the fuck are you doing? We need to go!â Black Opal shouted at Fettelite.
âI know when Iâm beat. If you act like you found me first, youâll still keep your place as chief medic and your cover wonât be blown,â Fettelite said, confidently and emotionlessly, âBesides, Iâll only be banished, right? Itâs not the worst life to be living.â
âFettelite, no. I wonât allow it. You need to get ready to go.â
âIâm not the important one here; Iâm just here for the good times, youâre the one thatâs trying to infiltrate the Diamonds,â Fettelite said in that same cold tone, âJust make sure that nothing exciting happens without me, hm?â
Black Opal chuckled a little at that comment, and bowed her head down. When she looked back up, she was still smiling, but tears were forming in her eyes. Black Opal realized this would be the only way both of them would survive and the plan could go forward, so she begrudgingly took Fetteliteâs arms, pinned them behind her back and forcefully pushed her to the exit and towards to approaching soldiers.
âNow donât you even dare try escaping, you bitch!â Black Opal shouted the moment she got outside, âBlue Diamond is going to see that youâre personally never going to set foot on this planet again!â
Sweetie (A Green Diamond Rebellion Story)
Fordite walked back inside, not looking back at Variscite. She realized that she stepped a bit too far in trying to talk to her, so she figured she could use a little space. Only after she calmed down did she start to think about her parting quote, about needing a healer, and she realized that having one wouldnât actually be a bad idea.
âI really ought to ask Variscite about some of those healers she mentioned. Corrupted or not, I need someone in case I get too damaged...â Fordite said quietly to herself.
Clearly, she didnât say it quietly enough, as Fettelite suddenly appeared behind her shoulder, âWhat did you just say about corrupted healers?â she said in a cool tone with just the slightest tinge of worry.
âOh! Jeez, I didnât see you there, Fettelite! Um, I was just thinking about whether or not I should ask Variscite about finding a healer, but we got into a fight so Iâm not entirely sure if I can ask right now,â Fordite said sheepishly, âNot to mention she said most of them were corrupted, so itâs not like theyâd be any help anyway...â
âOh, sweetie, donât worry!â Fettelite said, âMiss Fettelite has everything under control!â
Fettelite moved in front of Fordite and crouched down to her eye level, âDo you really think old B is the only one with connections?â Fettelite boasted, âI think that I can help you find a healer. Iâve got just the one, in fact!â
âReally?! Oh my gosh, thank you so much! When can we go to see her?â Fordite said excitedly. She would have been jumping for joy if she wasnât still sad about her conversation with Variscite, but nonetheless, she was happy she could finally have a healer to help her.
âOh, no, Iâm sorry. This is something that only I can do. You have to stay here and wait until I come back,â Fettelite said in a disappointed tone, âI would love to have you meet her as soon as possible, but she would get upset if I brought a friend. Just wait here until I come back, alright?â
âOh, really? Man... Fine... But I get to meet her first thing when she comes back, alright?â
âYes, sweetie, of course you do. Iâm getting her for you, anyway, remember?â Fettelite said, sounding like a mother trying to remind a child about something obvious.
Before Fordite could respond, Fettelite had straightened up and went out the door. Fordite could only wonder where she would be going, and who this mysterious healer would be.
Fettelite approached the cave with an odd combination of wariness and determination. Snarling and screaming could be heard from inside, as well as the unmistakable sound of ratting chains. Fettelite didnât even think about drawing her weapon; she knew the person inside wouldnât hurt her, even if she had become corrupted beyond return.
In a tone of genuine emotion, Fettelite spoke to the snarling noise, âHello, sweetie. Iâm going to need your help again.â
