Say what one would about the Terrans, but there were a handful of them whose brilliance could outmatch even the cleverest intellectual in the multiverse. It was because of them that she ended up in this form, now imbued with speech to express herself better. She even managed to retain her ability to send things ( and living beings ) into pocket dimensions, but it was something that she wasn’t keen on letting the scientists know. 

“Alright, I’m ready to help!”

Indo paused and amber eyes turned to look at her.  There was something about the girl standing in front of him that set him off.  It just didn’t sit well, and he couldn’t say why.  Though maybe it was the fact she had yellow eyes, and he hadn’t run across other human with odd colored eyes like his.  A step forward from him.  “What are you?”

  “In this life? No, I don’. ‘ve already lost too much and I cannot jus’ stand here and do nothin’.”

THE FOREST has become sort of an unspoken home for him now. WITH everything going to shit in this place in which he was now STUCK, Karter was beginning to wonder if he’d ever see the light of day again. Not in so much a literal sense but the idea of being stuck in this HELL ON EARTH wasn’t something that appealed to him in the slightest. HIS KNIFE wedges into the tree trunk behind him as he drags one of the bodies of the NUMEROUS project members against the tree, leaving the blade there while he does his dirty work of tying the man up by his wrists.

He was ALIVE ( for now ) but Karter was thoroughly intent on the opposite if he wasn’t given exactly what he demanded from this man. Once everything is in position he steps back, KNIFE back in his hand as he sighs.

“Wake th’fuck up.”

atomic-shaded harsh blue light floods around him from the bulbs above his head, a veil of his past self that falls across like a blanket to comfort him in his much smaller form, shoulders steeled against showing the anguished confusion of a monster turned man- of a Titan lost of his own form; he will not show weakness.

“I’m a King. Nothing about that has changed. I have a kingdom to protect, and I intend to do my duty. The problem is... I don’t even know how to be human yet. I don’t know how to fight for my world like this.”

he doesn’t know this form the way he did his last- doesn’t know its hands, doesn’t know its legs, and certainly doesn’t understand the rest any better, so soft and malleable, without fire in its belly. he wants to be big again, wants to be strong again like he was then, but those days are in the past now.
