I finally saved up enough money to splurge on a proper compression chamber and pump for resin casting. It’s quite the investment for me and I can’t wait to get it. A compression chamber uses air pressure to make all the bubbles in your resin castings so tiny, they’re no longer visible to the eye. I’ve been working with a homemade makeshift chamber of my own invention for the last few years on some of my resin castings but it’s not ideal and I can only cast one large contemplation crystal at a time. So this will be a huge leap forward! I just have to make room in my tiny caravan studio for it! My large vintage books on birds and mushrooms may have to transfer to the house but that’s ok.
