— Feragenus
Derived from the Latin words, meaning ‘wild animal/beast’, and ‘gender/species’.
🐾 FERAGENUS: “A gender identity that is affected by one’s nonhumanity — in a way that makes you feel male/female (usually of your theriotype), but not like a man/woman.“
— e.g., you wouldn’t call a male deer a man, or a female fox a woman — you’d probably use buck/vixen, or just male/female. Feragenus entities feels this animalistic version of gender represents them, and their nonhuman identity, better.
This term is only for therianthropes, otherkin, and other alterhumans to use.
