A John Page #Ashburn Custom spotted at The #TwelfthFret, Toronto. If you think you have never heard of #JohnPage, I can assure you that you at least know of his work. He was one of the 2 founders of the #Fender #CustomShop back in 1987, and he also designed the #FenderBullet in the early 80s. John Page makes #guitars under his own brand nowadays, and his #Stratocaster-based Ashburn is very interesting. It has an #alder body with #lacquer finish, #Lollar #pickups (note reverse bridge pickup), Indian #rosewood (or maple, as shown here) #fretboard on a quarter sawn hard rock maple neck, and #Gotoh staggered #vintage-style #tuners (staggering the posts means no string trees are required to achieve the proper break angle over the nut). #guitar #guitarphotography #boutiqueguitars #guitarshopping
