i've noticed that rotten tomatoes only seems to significantly affect usa box office.
i think it's cos of some apps called fendango and flixster or something that they use in america.
those apps display rotten tomato scores as you purchase tickets i think.
and obviously people don't look into the scores but rotten tomatoes refuses to change it's system.
