A species of aerial predators who occupy the skies of Cyule, Felilunes are responsible for many of the planet's airborne settlements. Residing mostly in sky-borne, lofty homes called Starbases, the Felilunes are deeply connected to the sky and space. Felilunes where created artificially in a lab accident involving a feline, arthopod, and avian of unknown species or origin. The resulting mutations created an entire new genome, which gave rise to a diverse species of aerial beings. In the first days of the Felilunes' creation, the skies were filled with terrible cries as transportation beasts and airships were knocked out of the sky by the newly dominant species. The conquest was short lived, however, as the raging beings came to appreciate their home, mellowing out in a collective oath known as the Grand Truce. The unanimous decision revealed the species second most prominent trait: diplomacy. Under the conditions of the Truce, the Felilunes vowed to never ravage the skies, as long as they were placed in command of it. The species of the lower lands hesitantly agreed, though their space-faring cousins, the Asymtrii, were slow to trust the new sky-borne invaders. For ages, the Felilunes and Asymtrii were at odds with each other, each side unwilling to relinquish the realm of the wind.
