Even if he couldn’t have helped the first instinctive twitch of confusion in his brow, Leonard supposed he could have guessed the meaning based on the context of the previous question alone what the voice - An adult woman’s, by the sound of it - could have meant.
A slow, steady breath sucked in. Leonard nodded.
“I am still well,” He confirmed, perhaps not honestly yet politely, all the same. “To show concern on my behalf... Is a kind act. You have my thanks.”
...Had he met this woman before? The voice didn’t at all sound like anything he knew, much less like one that belonged to anyone in Midgard. Had his mind truly not been acting in poor memory, the assumption of it being a stranger acting only from the goodness of her heart had brought a strange reaffirmation of faith to Leonard, more so than he would have expected to come from something so small.
But even so...
The camp had seemed a truly busy place of late, and Leonard wondered whether this girl had come to stay with the others or only happened to be passing by - Her voice seemed one far too kind to be involved or even know of the war, and though nothing particularly rough and worn as the voices of the villagers he had grown alongside with... It seemed to be lacking in any touch of nobility, either.
His guess had been that she must have been a traveller, of sorts - It at least saved him the trouble of worrying about any prying that could have ensued...
