⊹ i think he absolutely loves how he is all rough edges and battle scars, while your features are so beautiful and your skin is just so soft.
⊹ he doesn't think he is ugly or pretty, just an average guy, but he does think after hurting and killing so many people the ugliness of his actions somehow manifests into his looks. he will indeed always wonder how he got so lucky to have such goddess next to him, but he would rather take his rare luck and treat you like you are the only woman on earth instead of sulking and self doubting himself constantly.
