So I entered that competition......
They gve me no rules to follow except keep it under 2 minutes of flipping. Done! This is what I came up with. I thought I'd try to be all brooding and shit and go with a dark-themed video. This isn't quite what I had in mind. But it'll do.
My current arsenal of balisong at the moment.

My video is exactly 50% done at this point in time. I've still gotta get
two 3 second long aerials shots
~20 seconds of flipping doubles
some amazing 6 second long combo that I can play at 50% speed in B&W
another 11 seconds of flipping doubles
and finally another 9 to 10 seconds of some bullshit for the fade-out in the outro...
Luckily, it's not due until August 30th. So far, it's turning out to be my best video yet. I just have to buckle-down and practice, practice, practice at these new tricks I've come up with. My birthday is this month which means my brain/body takes an involuntary leave of absence, whether I like it or not.
Being actor/director/video&audio editor is not as easy as many people think. These minute and a half videos take hours and hours of work to come out proper. The next time someone you know creates a decent video for themselves, give them a pat on the back for me.
