Cisco Webex on CentOS7 x86_64
So, it seems from negativo17, that on Fedora 19 & 20 webex support for linux is much better than it was: http://negativo17.org/enabling-cisco-webex-in-fedora-19-x86_64-and-i686/.
I just tested it on CentOS7 to the point of joining the test-meeting. It would at least allow viewing any slides/presentations while dialling-in to audio.
Without unconfining the mozilla plugin the audio "call by computer" complains about the device not being available. Here is the state of the selinux variables prior to setting them as suggested in the link (for reversion):
$ sudo getsebool unconfined_mozilla_plugin_transition unconfined_mozilla_plugin_transition --> on $ sudo getsebool mmap_low_allowed mmap_low_allowed --> off
It seems that in order to avoid the audio device unavailable I will have to install 32-bit firefox and hence a 32-bit java plugin for this.
