RHEL(CentOS)7 환경에서 숫자로 시작하는 사용자명 만들기

이번 포스팅은 제목에도 나와있지만…

RHEL(CentOS) 환경에서 숫자로 시작하는 사용자명을 만들 수 있을까??? 라는 것이다.

이런 생각은 하지 못 했는데…

우선 기본적으로 RHEL(CentOS) 환경에서 숫자로된 사용자 계정은 만들수도 만들수 없을수도 있다.

위 문서에 보면 shadow-utils 에 의해서 숫자로 시작하는 사용자 및 그룹 이름이 사용 가능 하지만

일부 유틸리티에선 사용이 불가능 하며 사용이 가능 하더라도 주의 해야 한다고함.

  shadow-utils 버전과 관련해서

shadow-utils-4.1.5.1-25 (shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6)

버전에선 숫자로된 사용자 이름을 만들수 없지만.

shadow-utils-4.1.5.1-25.el7_6.1 and later (shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 batch update 3)

버전에선 SHADOW_ALLOW_ALL_NUMERIC_USER 환경 변수를 이용하여 숫자로된 사용자명을 이용할 수 있다고 한다.

참고로 숫자로 시작 하지만 영문을 포함한 사용자명은 문제가 없지만 전체가 숫자로된 사용자명은 

검토가 필요 하다고함.

RHEL7(CentOS7) 의 grub2 사용 해 보기

RHEL7(CentOS7) 기반의 grub2 의 사용법에 대해서 간단히 알아 보려고 한다.

  1. grub2 의 커널 파라미터 설정(CMDLINE) 

기존에는 /etc/grub.conf or /boot/grub/grub.conf 를 수정해야 했으나 grub2 에서는 아래의 파일에 내용을 수정한다.

file : /etc/default/grub

GRUB_TIMEOUT=5 GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="$(sed 's, release .*$,,g' /etc/system-release)" GRUB_DEFAULT=saved GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=true GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT="console" GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="vconsole.font=latarcyrheb-sun16 vconsole.keymap=ko crashkernel=256M

위 내용을 수정하고 아래 명령어를 실행 한다.

# grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.10.0-514.26.2.el7.x86_64 Found initrd image: /boot/initramfs-3.10.0-514.26.2.el7.x86_64.img Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.10.0-514.10.2.el7.x86_64 Found initrd image: /boot/initramfs-3.10.0-514.10.2.el7.x86_64.img Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-0-rescue-89f67b9113e64947ab85be3002ef89c9 Found initrd image: /boot/initramfs-0-rescue-89f67b9113e64947ab85be3002ef89c9.img

grub2-mkconfig 명령을 실행하면 위 /etc/default/grub 에 설정한 내용을 기반으로 모든 커널 라인에 해당 설정을 적용 해 준다.

  2.  Default 커널 버전을 어떻게 설정 하는가?

우선 아래의 명령으로 커널 버전별 엔트리 및 인덱스 넘버를 확인 합니다.

# awk -F\’ ‘$1==”menuentry ” print i++ ” : ” $2’ /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

기본 항목은 / etc / default / grub 파일의 GRUB_DEFAULT 행에 의해 정의됩니다. 그러나 GRUB_DEFAULT 행이 saved로 설정되면 매개 변수는 / boot / grub2 / grubenv 파일에 저장됩니다.

# grub2-editenv list saved_entry=0

/boot/grub2/grubenv 파일은 수동으로 편집 할 수 없습니다. 아래의 명령어를 사용 하시기 바랍니다.

# grub2-set-default 2    <== 설정 # grub2-editenv list  <== 확인 saved_entry=2   <== 설정 결과

설정이 완료되면 reboot 을 합니다. 위에서 지정한 커널 버전으로 부팅 된 것을 확인 할 수 있습니다.
