Facial expression description library (4/?)
Sorry it’s been a while, I got distracted by a Merlin fandom Discord I made with my friend – but here's another round of "how the fuck do you describe that?"
For everyone who might not have seen the previous posts, this is the idea of the FEDL:
Describing expressions is hard, especially for more nuanced faces than “smile” or “frown”. The point is now to find/take and post a gif or picture of an expression that needs words. (If you make your own post, use the tag #facial expression description library, and/or #fedl, so it’s searchable.) Then everyone responds to/reblogs that post with how they would describe that expression. It takes a moment to build it up, but in the end we all have a neat little library of gifs and descriptions and we just have to find the one we need when we need it. We are also expanding this to gestures now because reasons.
Now I still have no following and this side-blog even less so. Subsequently, I (again) humbly ask if you would consider to reblog this even if you don’t add your own description. Even a like (to appease the algorithm-gods) would be great!
But on to round 4: How would you describe this gesture? (Bonus points for descriptions at different intensities; e.g. pointing like this with your palm up but barely lifting the arm)
