I feel this is fitting for Silas because of how the two lovers in question have nothing but faith that they’ll always have each other. Something that both Silas and Misha share with one another, as they’ve been with one another in secret of years, since Anya would likely punish both of them severely. 

Silas knows he realistically can’t promise that he’ll always be safe, given his job involves him being sent out to hunt whoever he’s been hired to kill, and Anya isn’t exactly known for her kindness. He might be one of her favorites, given that he’s her top dog, but that only means his punishments are much harsher. Much like Misha’s given that she’s her favorite blood bank.

I find this fitting for Ren because it represents his growth. Before meeting Alma, he’s always been sort of carefree and didn’t care too much about focusing on his duties. After meeting her, he doesn’t quite lose his fun side, but rather he learns how to be better and take his job more seriously. 

It helps that through meeting Alma, he sees not only something that’s entirely capable of killing him without thinking, but Alma, who’s a demigoddess in terms of power, is going to have a hard time dealing with Daisuke.

I feel this song fits Rio’s first year of being inducted into Cerberus, not only has her life irreversibly changed, but she’s struggling with herself and her loss of power in her eyes. Something Rio has always been, is sexually confident, having that ripped away from her by Tabitha, leads to a period where she doesn’t know what to do.

But in turn, she refuses to give in, and this song also represents where she meets Bleu, Charlie, and Carmen, three people who are incredibly important to her, with Charlie being the first person she legitimately falls in love with. Without them, she wouldn’t quite know what to do.

Up until Charlie? Hell no. Rio’s been a part of a lot of flings with other women and she told her partners that this was a one-time deal or it was purely sexual. With Charlie, she became fairly emotionally open with her. Though it should be noted that was because she tried using sex as a coping mechanism for what Tabitha did to her and as a way of ignoring her problems, but Charlie refused to let her do that. If it weren’t for Charlie, Rio never would have begun to address her emotions in a healthy manner. Not to mention, her becoming such good friends with Carmen and Veronica. At least in the sense that the three of them have dealt with being sexually assaulted.
