The complexities of humans are remarkable, and to judge a person, their entire character as a whole, based off a single mistake is irrational. So why do we think other species are any different? What gives humans the right to judge another creature, not even the individual creature but instead an entire species, based off an individual’s mistake or rather a preconceived misconception that an individual in said species could possibly make a mistake... therefore making the entire species “bad?” Who are we to judge? — Get the facts, understand the complexities. We’re on the tail end of tiger shark season here in Hawaii, but we’re hoping to be graced with their presence a few more times💙🙏🏽🤞🏽 Tiger sharks are one of the most misunderstood shark species, so we hope more people can grow to see them the way many of us here do: beautiful, intelligent, cautious, and humbling top predators. 💙 Beautiful words and photo from  @munsea_inspired 🦈 ・・・ That’s excitement you feel, not fear. . . . I do not feel that I am more brave than the average person — bravery is, in one aspect, the conquest over a fear; if a fear is essentially irrational because it’s based off of a misguided understanding, then can it be said that conquering certain fears is not actually brave at all? Perhaps it’s just coming to terms with your heart, acknowledging the irrationality of your fear, and shutting your mind down so you can experience what you know deep down always felt right. . . . And while sharks aren't directly contributing to O2 production they are keeping the oceans and reefs in balance which in turn allows the algae to do their algae thing.
