Crit cut-in time lets go!!!
I've been cleaning up my art files and this has included finishing up some long abandoned wips. Accepting that I am pretty much done with these projects and finally putting the finishing bow on them. And I'm very glad I did, because I really like the final result!
The premise was to give our feh protagonists more series standard critical hit cut-ins. I wanted these really intense expressions too— that's not something we get to see on a lot of these characters and I had fun exploring that. Ratatoskr's saddest wettest cat expression was so god damn easy, you guys don't even know. But more than that, being in a fight against the divine personification of death itself and landing a crit should feel rad as hell. That's the intensity a lot of these fights are operating under and I wanted to drag that out.
Pick a favorite if you'd like! Maybe even recommend some crit quotes! I spitballed a few as I was working in order to get a better feel for each character's vibe for each portrait. Personal favorites being Anna's "You don't scare me," Fjorm's "I shall repay your cruelty," and Ash's "May your unfortunate passing be relatively painless."

Clearly, most of us wanted Bridal Bruno, not…whatever this banner was. This is mostly a joke lol. But yeah, another bad bridal banner with harem undertones. Yuck.
Eir however is utter perfection. Just look at my ethereal gal in blue. This is her prettiest alt yet!
Now I remember why I probably stopped playing Fire Emblem Heroes. It's because I hate their original story mode. It was fine up until book 7. Book Six was tolerable, I think. I barely remember it, but I don't think it was ever that bad. Books 1 to 5 were all really good, although book 4 was a bit underwhelming. And Book Seven's time travel plotline was horrible. Just horrible. I actually remember looking for negative feedback to make myself feel less alone, only for me to get lost on a negative rabbit hole that destroyed my mood.
So yeah, I don't care about any of the characters made after book seven. I'm going to skip all the cutscenes and dialogue from now on, I think. Because I think it just isn't nearly as interesting as the characters in Book 1 to Book 5. Why should I care about Eikthyrnir or Nidhogg or Ratatosk when they're so much worse when compared to Eir and Hrid and Reginn and Otr and Alfonse and stuff. The new feh characters aren't as interesting to me, and I don't think that's gonna change.
Accessories for the beautiful brides this year! Everyone had such beautiful dresses I tried to get them all. No Reginn sadly. 🥲

My favorite part of accessories is that they stand out with thicker lines among the chibis, and it really brings the wholething together if you pair them right (why I started this blog really).I think my favorite of this batch you've submitted is probably Peony, I already love the clover pin but it contrasts really nice in my brain with her majority orange outfit, adorable!
