Far Cry 7 Leaks!
okay. so a few weeks ago I saw this video from one of my fave youtube channels.
TLDR (6:39 mark on video):
-Non-linear story
-The story centered around saving the player character's kidnapped family
-The premise of the campaign is for the player to rescue their entire family within a specific time frame (in-game timer 72 hours, 24 hours in real-time (timer can be paused when the player enters on of their safehouses)
-Family members can be killed off which can impact the story.
-New interrogation mechanic; enemies can lie or remain quiet or help, kinda like LA Noire.
-Game planned for Fall 2025
-Game will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal and will move away from the Dunia engine to Snowdrop (The Division engine)

-New setting is a small island off the coast of South Korea
-Lead villain played by Lee Jung-Jae from Squid Games.
-North Korean insurgents have taken your siblings.
-Campaign can be done in co-op mode
-Player character can be male or female
-New multiplayer mode called Conquest (open-world extraction mode) --> squads of three complete a series of objectives and engage with 90 other real players in search of valuable items while struggling to survive until extraction.

-FC7 may combine elements from the highly regarded FC3 and FC5
-Return of narrative designer and lead writer Drew Holmes suggests that FC7 may carry over and expand his previous vision and ideas from FC5
-The setting is a tropical island called Kimsan, located in the "Yellow Sea next to Korea"
