Looking down at your pinky, you notice the prominent red string that was tied to your pinky and felt the tears slip out of your eyes as you stared at it, feeling the tug on the other end of the string and you knew who it was. You followed the slight tugging that was being made on the red string of fate, hearing the faded bells that you heard earlier start to ring louder and louder as you started to get closer to where he must have been.

At the same time that you have followed it, there were lanterns that started to surround you the closer that you got towards the bridge, and from almost a couple hundred feet away you could see the outline of someone’s figure standing on the bridge, a lantern in their hand. You continued to walk towards them, realizing that it was Jeonghan as the distance of your red string started getting short and shorter when you realized that the bells stopped by the time that you were both now looking at one another.

“Princess…” You hear him breathe out as he was now only a few feet away from you at the middle of the bridge, lantern still in hand as you held up your hand for him to look at the red string that was on your finger.

“It was always you, Jeonghan,” You choke out, feeling sobs already start to erupt from your throat as you know that tears were already streaming down your face, “Remember when you asked me about my last wish?”

Jeonghan gives you a soft look as he watches you walk over towards where he was standing before he realizes that the bells were going off once again when it suddenly stops by the time that you both intertwined your hands together. It wasn’t until you looked down with blurry eyes that the string finally disappeared from your sight, leaving behind a little infinity tattoo that is marked on your pinky that mirrors his.

“So does that actually mean… You’re actually my soulmate?” He whispers, raising his hands up gently to cup your cheeks into his hands and he wipes the tears that were still streaming down your face, feeling as though his emotions were being washed over by a tidal wave.

With a slight nod in response, you move where you were so that you were now finally kissing him with every fever and passion that was left in your heart. You feel him reciprocate the kiss as he pulls you in closer towards him as you knew that this was it; this was exactly what home and a fated soulmate feels like. It was moments after that you pull away with your foreheads resting against each other as you caught your breath for a split second before speaking up in the silent chilly night.

“Jeonghan, I love you. I’m sorry, if I ever made you feel like I didn’t.” You whispered softly and looked at him in the eyes as a smile curled at the corners of his lips, a kiss placed against your forehead as he shakes his head in response.

“I love you too, Y/N, even if I was being an ass because I was jealous about your end with Joshua. I’m just happy that we finally got our own answers.” He breathes out, pulling you into a warm embrace as you nodded in response, hugging him back when you suddenly realize the given moment.

“You were going to release a lantern… What were you going to wish for?” You softly ask him while facing over towards the lantern that was still resting on the bridge, noticing that it was still lit up when he suddenly brings a marker up to your eyes.

“Want to make a wish with me for our fated future?” He grins as you take the marker out of his hands, beginning to write your own wish on it when you feel him still hug you but from behind this time as his arms were wrapped around your waist with his chin on your shoulder.

“I am one step ahead of you, Hannie.” You smile, writing down what you hope to wish for in the upcoming years that was yet to come as he places another kiss against your head and you pass him the marker after you finish.
