I really don’t see how the entire plot can wrap up satisfactorily without further flashback scenes. Albus’ and Gellert’s relationship is one of the core plot points; it’s so unlikely for us not to revisit their story at some point. Jamie & Toby may well have already filmed scenes that have been kept back to interlace into the other films.

i just want to know why graves was built up as such an important character in the first film if the real graves isn’t going to come into play in future films in the franchise...
is it possible original!graves won’t be in the second film because the third, or even fourth/fifth, film will focus more on finding him?
