Mike : Don’t worry, I have a permit.
Charlie: ...This just says “I can do what I want”.
----
Vanessa: Sorry I’m late, everyone! I broke down on the way.
Charlie: Oh no! Is your car okay?
Vanessa: …what car?
----
Cassie: When's the last time you slept?
Charlie: Uh... a few days ago, I think.
Cassie: A few- how many?!
Charlie: Uh... *starts counting on fingers* I need more fingers...
Cassie: What you need is sleep!
------------------------------------
Glam Fred: Hold on, I can explain!
Hax: Really? Can you now?
Glam Fred: I can if you give me a minute to think of a convincing lie.
----
Glam Fred: Is something burning?
Clover, leaning seductively on the counter: Just my desire for you.
Glam Fred: Clover, the toaster is literally on fire.

The technician smiled at the skunk's wiggling ears, glad that he enjoyed the gesture.
"You know, Ranger, I could probably make some modifications to your suit that would let you properly 'feel' touch to your head. Haptic feedback, and whatnot."
He'd seen Clover's blueprints; an amalgamation of (presumably) last-gen NASA tech with the best Fazbear Ent. had to offer. From a pure hardware perspective, he was likely the most advanced animatronic in the Pizzaplex.
It honestly made Jonathan a little sad, therefore, to see him get lumped in with the rest of the Glamrocks. Hardware's only as good as the software that operates it, and while the Glamrock code was miles ahead of any other in the entertainment industry, the bots were, at the end of the day, just that. Entertainers.
For Clover to just be more of the same, an animatronic who could and would be quietly swept away if he should cease to be popular or cause too big a lawsuit... it felt like a waste of his potential to Jonathan. And there was nothing that irked Jonathan more in this line of work than needless waste.
Outwardly, of course, the technician was extremely careful not to even hint at such feelings, especially around Clover. He couldn't help what he was made for, after all, any more than he could help the virus that was screwing with his programming- and the programming of every other bot in this place.
The virus was the bane of Jonathan's existence, his "white whale," and Management refused to let him shut this whole place down to properly root it out. So the technician kept his head down and pushed forward. Playing whack-a-mole with the problem using band-aid solutions while designing a real one.
Clover presented a chance to kick back and do some work he enjoyed for a change. While not greenlit by Management, the upgrade to his systems wouldn't affect the animatronic's performance, and it would let him have one more bright spot in the delusion that the virus put in his silicon brain. His belief that the Fazer Blast simulation was indeed reality seemed unshakable, and even if he could be convinced of the truth, Jonathan didn't have the heart to shatter his worldview. So once again, he played along, taking care of the robot skunk as best he could.
"Might even be able to rework your space suit to do the same. Touch, hot and cold. It's a cool universe out there! You deserve to experience it."
@fazerheart asked: "it's very nice here!" - for Glamrock Freddy!
“If you think it’s neat now, just wait till we decorate it up a little bit more.”
It had taken some convincing but Freddy had gotten management to agree to designating a small room in Fazer Blast for the animatronics to use. Chica had one in Mazercise, there was one in Monty Golf, and Bonnie had one in Bonnie Bowl. A sort of backstage that made it much easier to charge without getting in the way of the customers. Mirrors also helped animatronics make sure they were looking nice and presentable before heading out to do their jobs. Can’t entertain the kids if you're covered in stains….what would little Jimmy think?!
“I’ve got a few extra items stored away in my room that I could bring down here. A few posters, some glowing star stickers.”
Perhaps they could get things from lost and found or one of the mall's many storage rooms? That felt like it might be breaking a rule or two but he couldn’t find any after a very quick search in his programming.
