It was a nice evening, he supposed.  It was really the first time he’d been out and about since arriving on the island a week or so ago.  He’d kept to himself on purpose - the less people knew he was there meant the less people there were to bombard him questions about their technology.  It gave him time to get situated in his office, get reacquainted with the memories that flooded back from the island, and allowed him some time to slack off after traveling from California.  Not that it was crazy far, but he could use a little break.  Now, seated along the sidelines with slaves rushing back and forth delivering drinks, soft music playing throughout the space, he watched as a young woman approached him and he gave her a kind smile.  “If you’re asking me to dance, you should know I’m a horrible dancer,” he said.  “If you don’t value your toes, then I can.” @fayeth-araven​
