do u guys think avery ever actually read dereks note. like seriously if u think about it we really don't know. do u think he sat there at his computer after it was over, listening to the people celebrating the new year and trying desperately to reopen the game, to get back on and find derek alive and okay. do u think he blamed himself for the longest time, hated that he had let someone else take his place in this plan he had been chosen for, hated that derek had saw himself as being so worthless when to avery he had been everything. do u think that after a while he would lie awake at night, trying to figure out if it had even been real, but feeling like, even if there was a chance it wasn't, he owed it to derek to remember him, remember what he'd done. to keep going at the crossroads, for this boy who he'd barely known but had still watched give up his life for the world, for avery.
